Alice was totally my favorite in the books... UNTIL THE MOVIE. Then I fell head over heals for Jasper! (I loved them both, but their favorite/second favorite switched with the movie.

Edward is a creeper... And not THAT amazing.

And Bella is a moron... Which is why I'll always say the movie is better — You're not stuck in her head. She lowered my IQ...

But if you do want to know how awesome Alice is, then the books are a wonderful source... Though they do unfortunately focus on everything from Bella's point of view... Boo. And it upset me that they didn't mention Jasper's special ability in the movie... or any of Alice's past. Whatever.

Why is this a secret? People have been openly hating the McCrory casting since literally the minute it was announced.

I understand why some people are disappointed, and I agree the costuming/makeup/hair is a bad bad direction, but McCrory is a fantastic actress which is about 10 million times more important than whether or not she's pretty (especially since her looks played no part in the plot at all) and frankly I was over this topic 6 months ago.

There's nothing wrong with Cate Blanchett or Joley Richardson, or any of the other actresses people were talking about. There's nothing wrong with McCrory either.
