159. I love the Ewoks (and I actually saw the Ewok movie before I ever saw Star Wars), I just think it’s ridiculous that the fucking Empire with its weapons and hundreds of soldiers and motherfuck DEATHSTAR was defeated by a handful of rebels and fuzzy teddy bears with rocks and sticks.

But the Ewoks themselves are awesome. And for some reason, every time I watch the movie, I wait for the part where Wicket is talking to Leia and says something that sounds like ‘chabookieookie’ and then I play it like, five times before I can continue watching the movie.

167. Uh, no. That’s how I ship ALL my pairings, regardless of whether or not they’re slash or het. But then, I do enjoy the occasional smutfic about them too. Honestly, I enjoy the sex part much more if there’s an actual story involved, too. I’d rather read fifty pages of good fic with only one sex scene than fifty awesome smutfics.

Silly even to comment on. Don't read this series, but is the character "England" actually England or is it supposed to be the United Kingdom? It isn't the english flag representing him there... and I'm sure the other countries don't want to be looped in with him anyway... I'm just wondering...

He's officially named as the United Kingdom, but often referred to as England within the strips (much like Russia is called Russia by other characters despite the author acknowledgment that he would at various points in the timeline actually be the Soviet Union).

There have been brief mentions of Scotland as a separate entity, but so far no canon appearances of other members of the UK. So he sort of represents both for simplification purposes which, let's face it, are nothing new in Hetalia. But it's not purely out of ignorance.

101. Oh hell yes! I've been waiting most of my natural life to get my hands on a good type-two phaser and a Lt. Cmdr., Sciences Division uniform. If this movie can make me look more like Bones (and maybe give us more awesome toys? Full bridge FTW?), then it's already justified itself. Oh, and the Michael Giacchino score CD, which is bound to be incredible.

143. Not sure which 'we all' you're referring to there. Reading through the comments in response to that secret, I have found only three (including yours) that express such an opinion (and only you used the word 'hate'). The others have all said that they like him (or even love him). And I'm sure I once saw a thread on the Doctor Who Forum about him in which the vast majority of people said that, at worst, they find him mildly annoying. Are you sure you're not actually outnumbered?

I'd also like to say that I would never describe a character in such terms when speaking to someone who has just said that they love said character. Maybe you don't give a damn what people say about YOUR favorite characters, but whoever posted that secret might care. I know someone who cares a lot (badmouth Adric, and she'll get quite seriously upset). I care a lot. He genuinely is one of my favorite characters. I think he's adorable.

You may find him annoying, but not everyone does. We may be a small fanbase, but we're very devoted.

There's no fic probably because the show is so over-the-top with gross things pulling it off convicingly in fic is quite a task. And I totally agree with your sentiment, Mark/Jeremy might not exactly be the most romantic loving partnership on the planet but they'll always end up with each other in the sort of dysfunctional way they do.
