121 - I agree. I know it's supposed to be a pillar of ~artistic and ~philosophical anime, but I just can't watch it. I also like to think of myself as a moderately intelligent anime viewer as well. I think I just have an aversion to mecha mostly though. =/ That (and excessive fanservice) is why I stopped watching Geass, hehe.

127 - Have you read the books since seeing the movie? I thought Alice was pretty much the only good thing in the books. She's continually a neat character. And since SMeyer didn't focus on them directly, I made up my own backgrounds for her and Jasper and decided they were the real romance of the novel. =) hehe I just mean, if you can stand it, read the books for Alice. She has a lot more to do than she did in the movies.

142 - I FELT THE SAME WAY WHEN I SAW THIS MOVIE. Like, in general, I felt the movie was too long and ridiculous, but I loved his character. I loved how great Ed Norton was in that movie. His voice and actions were so delicate in a way that made him extremely attractive to me despite the whole leprosy thing >.> So, if it's wrong, I'm in the same boat!

I couldn't do anything past purely innocent butterfly kisses for like, a year. And my first ship was made for kink and Dom/Sub S&M. I saw those movies as a kid and remembered them way better than the bit of Star Wars I'd seen as an even younger kid (didn't watch 'em for real until I was ten, but then I watched them daily). I liked 'em, but now I don't remember 'em too well. They're probably incredibly cheesy, but I also always took them as something seperate from Star Wars. More like a really weird and fuzzy version of The Dark Crystal/Willow.

Also, when I was a little wee one, I had a little "Pat the Bunny" type of book, only it was with Ewoks. Oh yeah, and I loved the stupid little cartoon as well. So I'm not the best judge.

But I never got the hate against Ewoks. Y'don't have to love 'em, but dangit, their scenes were freakin' fun times.

Worst fucking Narcissa ever. Where's Nicole Kidman when you need her? Jesus. That lady is not a MILF. She's not even a GMILF. At least Jason Isaacs kind of looks like Tom Felton. She's like... some retarded wizard cousin you see at family reunions and have to be nice to. POOR LUCIUS.

Nicole Kidman as Narcissa would be v. intimidating IMO. She didn't quite have the "scares the shit out of me" quality in "The Golden Compass," but I kind of see that character (name escapes me at the moment) and Narcissa as similar (in terms of appearance and a slight amount of attitude).

But the movies only use UK citizens, right? Too bad NK's Australian (I mean, too bad for the idea of her being Narcissa, not too bad in general. I think Australians kick ass).
