It wasn't exactly closure: you can still pick anyone for your Flanoir scene, just like in the last game. I think what OP means is that they've been confirmed as the canon path to the Tales of Symphonia storyline. (Well to the best of my knowledge).

Personally I liked DoTNW (as is obvious from this account), but oh man, did the Lloyd/Colette Flanoir scene EVER make me squee back when I was watching the playthrough on Nicovideo. I cheered out loud when he said "I love you."

167. Awww, of course you're not a bad slasher, silly. :) Everyone is different, everyone likes different things out of fanfiction. Some like porn, some like plot and genfic, and you like something different. This sounds just like me when I started slashing, actually. For years I just skipped over the porny fics because they didn't do anything for me, in fact I still get irritated when characters just jump into bed together if it doesn't seem like their personality to do so. What I like is what you said - the emotional side of things. I don't know who those guys are, but each fandom seems to have their own personality in terms of what kind of fic is posted. But I'm sure you can find some of what you like if the fandom's a decent size. Anyway, don't worry about liking a different side of things - you're probably just a more emotional and less sexual person than your friends. There's nothing wrong with ya. ;)

That's my favorite episode. And yeah, I'd trade Ruby for Madison in a heartbeat. I just want him to be happy. Not tortured or angry or heartbroken, just happy.

it's become one of my favorites after i avoided watching it for so long, because it makes me cry, but now i really love the episode and madison's character. and as much as i like him with ruby, like you said, i want him to be happy. and you know that he and ruby are NOT going to end well. i feel like if madison had lived, they could have dealt with their dark sides together and been able to accept it and grow and help each other and...yeah, i'd better stop thinking about this before i get sad.
