Once you know what being a Scientologist entails, and then see various celebs sit and laud it's 'teachings' in serious interviews (while usually having someone else hound the interviewer so the final interview can only come across as glowing), it does become difficult not to apply that to their other work, especially if they have holding in the creative process of whatever it is. Why should I listen to what they have to say if they can be brainwashed so completely? But I do not hate them for it - mostly I feel sorry for them and vaguely sickened that something like Scientology can exist and be so powerful in our society without having more criticism.

153. I can't stand sports manga, but I love Air Gear. That said, if your usual fare is shoujo, it's unlikely you'll like it. It's can be pretty ecchi at points, which is why it doesn't have that many female readers. But you should give it a go before you judge - it sucked me in, and I really wasn't expecting it to.

Funnily enough, one of the best parts of school for me was totally wrecking my uniform. But all kids in Ireland have to wear a uniform. I think we look hella cuter when we grunge it up.

I can agree with you on the grunging it up part - it just depends on how you grunge it. Sometimes I see girls grunge up and look cute, but then you can just tell who's truly slobby.

But at my school, the administration is pretty strict on how you look in your uniform. We have a specific skirt length (no short than a hands length about the knee, which I think is still a little short in some cases), you have to have your shirt tucked it at all times (that got me in trouble in 7th and 8th grade), and your socks can be black or white. At mass, we have to wear our blazers or we get demerits. (everyone always says how much they hate their blazers, but I secretly love them!)

And Ireland has mandatory uniforms? I didn't know that. XD
