Having more than one or two girlfriends = slut?

Being notorious for jumping from cute blonde female co-star to cute blonde female co-star?

Mmm, that's hedging in on slut, yes.

119 What is it ? O_o (if it's a comic, I want to read it!)
158 You know, as I'm french, I would have had good reasons to be offended but I'm not because clichés are everywhere and I know Hetalia isn't serious about it. People who read it know most of them are pictured wrong (it's satire) and ESPECIALLY that one character can't sum up a nation, that's obvious. But anyway, I respect your opinion, dislike it if you want. (But I don't get the point to write a secret, I mean, you don't have to listen to the people who judges you if you assume you have the right to dislike it)

109: Uh, yes I would, if they're beliefs were so strong that they were for thing that I am very much against.

Plus, I'm a psychologist. If your religion involves telling me that my livelhood is completely ridculous and that *I'm* crazy, with my proof and all, then I think it's fair to think differently of scientoligists.

101, 105, 109

[identity profile] usedusernames.livejournal.com 2009-02-01 10:17 pm (UTC)(link)
101. I agree. Though I don't like the trilogy, so it barely matters.
105. I ship all of that!
109. I agree. I'm an atheist, but I think there are far better reasons to dislike someone than because of their religion. I was really surprised at the scientology-oriented Jason Lee hate when I checked his message boards.

Re: 109

(Anonymous) 2009-02-02 01:42 am (UTC)(link)
It's not judging people because of a religion, it's judging people for promoting a batshit cult that basically exists to rob it's members. And there are even creepier implications. Do you know what Fair Game is? Have you ever heard of Lisa McPherson? Trust me, there are indeed grounds for disliking Scientology.

109. Sometimes. But Christianity, Judaism, and Islam are more widely accepted by society, therefore less of a surprise.

112. Hahaha.

125. I wish Hetalia was around when I was in AP US History, dammit.

141. It helped me too for a while. It can be a good thing, for sure, because it's easier to start talking to people when you can't see their faces. Then when that goes okay, you think, "Hay, maybe I can do this in RL too." :)

147. LOL I know that feeling. Oh god, actually yeah, can I share him with you?

151. Ohhh man. I might have to do that myself. LOL, no one EVER talks about it, it seems like, but it would be awesome just to see him in something else. Oh baby.

155. Aww. :((((

164. Aww, good for you. :)

165. I always wonder if celebrities I like are douchebags IRL. You can kind of tell in interviews most of the time. So I don't watch them. :|

109. Agreed.

111. *groan* Did you have to pick some of the creepiest otaku photos for your secret, OP? That first one is making me shudder.

126. Okay, I'll admit it. When I saw that scene, the first thought that popped in my head was "Nice butt!" Those are some very flattering villain pants.

137. He's got the charm but his accent is all wrong. Still, with a little tweaking it would be nice.

143. UHG!!!!!! This secret pisses me off just as much as those secrets that say, "Awww, they picked another white guy."

NO, THEY DIDN'T! They hired another English guy. The vast majority of Doctors have been English. The producers DID NOT HIRE a German, a Russian, an Italian or a Swiss. In short, they did not just hire "a white" guy.

These actors have ethnic backgrounds. Honestly, they're Europeans! They are born and raised in their blood origin countries. It's not like some Americans or Canadians who have to trace their roots back to Europe. These actors are from there. So, quit calling them white. It's an insult to their countries and cultures that have been around for hundreds of years. Some even thousands.

/rant off

162. I've been saying that from the start. Now if they could get some of Buffy's witty dialog and humor then I would happily watch this show again. (I quit after last week's snoozefest.) As it stands now, it's boring as anything.

165. Well, he did break up with his girlfriend over the phone. That's not cool any way you look at it.

170. How?

177. I still miss him. But then I miss the 4th Doctor. I don't want any of them to regenerate! WAHHHH! Just clone the actors, already.

105: Oh I definitely ship the one on the lower left. XD Is there a LSOH fandom? I really need to rewatch that movie.

109: I can't think of them the same way cause I'm scared for them.

110: I'm sorry nobody wants to watch your videos.

111: *looks at words then looks at pictures* Uh...thank you?

113: We should all be a little better for Rahm Emanuel shouldn't we?

117: What's the film?

124: No! Don't tempt me. I've finally escaped!! (translation: I love GemCraft)

141: I understand. I'm terribly at small talk so I never know what to say to people. Fandom gives me a topic of conversation to start off on and a fallback when I don't know what else to say. It has made me plenty of friends who I can, yes, talk to about things other then fandom.

143: Old troll tactic is old. Think of something new.

144: You are awesome. Holy shit is that Little Bear?

153: I've never read it so I can't give you an opinion on it but if you think you might like it, pick up the first issue and read it. What can it hurt?

155: Be my friend OP, I don't understand the constant change either. I like some current fads but I think like the old stuff too. I get sad that everybody leaves so quickly.

156: No no no! Don't let stupid fans make you hate Chloe. I love Chloe yes, but I love many of the other characters too. Judge the character by the character not by their crack fans!

159: Awww! Cute! Love it!

161: Don't worry about it too much OP, labels aren't necessary and you should do what makes you happy.

164: Wow, good for you OP. Glad you found your peace.

167: I...me too.

170: Isn't that Spiderman's job?

171: That would be awesome. I wouldn't even care what it was about.

109. Even though I'll probably get jumped on for this, I actually agree. There's a difference between not liking and even not approving of a religion, and losing respect for a person because they practice that religion. Some of my friends think this way and have even stopped watching movies with actors and actresses that are Scientologists, even if they previously liked that person or that movie a lot. It's ridiculous.
Besides, it's not our business what they believe.

Re: 109

[identity profile] postal152.livejournal.com 2009-02-01 10:28 pm (UTC)(link)
It's not our business, but sometimes we find out anyway. Like... Tom Cruise on national news.

For one, Scientology is hardly a religion, it's a moneymaking scheme Hubbard admitted he just made up to get rich. For another, the thing about religion is that usually they're a set of ideological beliefs. If you belong to that religion, it's because you subscribe to these beliefs. Why wouldn't we judge them for what they believe in and stand for? I think highly of celebs who go overseas and help starving children - that's something they stand for. I think negatively of people who buy into delusions and believe things that I strongly disagree with.

If a celebrity you liked believed that black people were actually aliens, and should be enslaved again, would that seriously not change the way you felt about them?
