I was going to make this exact secret. Except I was going to add that I had assumed we were the same age (she sounded older than me, actually) and I kind of sort of looked up to her... and then I found out she's almost three years younger than me.

So I feel creepy for crushing on someone I don't know IRL, and then I have the added bonus of feeling like a pedo.

Has anyone here actually told their fandom crushes and had it... work out?

IT ABSOLUTELY IS. I'm pretty sure there was an interview a few years ago and somebody asked about it, and there wasn't any denial, which as far as I'm concerned, coming from Disney, it's the most canon thing EVER EVER EVER. 122- I love it! The crack is a given, and the drama comes when they start fighting over whose turn it is to dominate the F!S board! (Seriously, I thought these two were dying down.)

159- YOU CAN BE HAPPY WITH JACOB. Stephenie Meyer won't tell you that, but it's true. I've seen it happen. And although it's not the clearest-cut analogy, I'm kind of a Jacob in my own situation, and it's working out all right for me. Don't let labels from an unrealistic romance steal your hope.
