131 - I liked Gaeta. I like Gaeta, and I am sincerely sad to see him die. I kinda wish he magically isn't killed. I think it was wrong to rebel/mutiny, but his character is so stepped upon and tragic that I can't hate him for his actions.

Y'know, that's never really crossed my mind. I was fifteen when I first heard about digimon and seventeen when my obsession hit it's peak so I've always been quite a bit older than the characters. Even sitting here at 23, I still fully believe that I'd have a digimon partner if they were real.

I suscribe to the Tamers theory of partnership, that the digimon feed off of imagination, and I've still got that regardless of age. Plus in Savers there were freakin' senior citizens with partners, which was probably one of the coolest things about that season :3

149 - Nothing's stopping you from renaming the thing yourself when you save it, you know. Some icon makers find it easier to sort their icons if they just give them numbers. Not to mention, it seems so pretentious to do that.

163. I can relate, even though my issue isn't exactly the same. I've had an inexplicable mask/costume/disguise kink for as long as I can remember. As a result I've stumbled through all sorts of bizarre fursuit, latex and mask stuff and never really found much that appealed to me (although one or two things have come close and a few terrified me)

Weirdly enough, the V for Vendetta fandom was were I finally found some of the hottest fics and art to match my kink...

101) Don't beat yourself up about it. Although it seems like giving honest criticism would be the decent and proper thing to do -- but most of the time it actually isn't. The truth is that very few people (even those who claim they want it) really want con-crit from strangers. And a lot of what is called con-crit is just criticism without the constructive part. Writers will often either ignore your advice (because they don't know how to implement it) or else disagree with your advice because it hurts their feelings. Offering your services as beta is a much more constructive use of your time -- that way you can build a relationship of trust with the writer and be able to tailor your advice to her needs, so it can be heard and understood.

106) Dude, even professional writers acknowledge that some fanfic is as well written (or better written) than the original. True those fics are few and far between, but even professional writers occasionally indulge in writing fanfic.

111) NEVER going to happen. Ever. Because there is no way to make it entertaining without offending the hell out of the evangelical crowd.

131) I agree. Felix's story arc is tragic and it's that way because his motivations were good and his heart was in the right place. The situation was morally ambiguous -- the solution is by no means clear. Had Felix won, he would have been considered a hero, and even though he lost, he might turn into a martyr. That's what I like about BSG it's not pure good vs pure evil -- it's survival by whatever means possible.

163) I used that fetish in one of my fics, but I doubt I did it in a way you'd find a turn on (It was part of a monster on guy tentacle porn -- er, yeah, I do lots of fetish writing). Anyway, I think what you need to do is get a hotmail account and not mind the weirdass ads. Google places that cater to your fetish (Literotica (http://www.literotica.com/) perhaps (though you may need to scrape the fandom off and pass it off as original fic).

131. Total word--you've expressed my feelings about this perfectly. I'm not in the fandom, but it makes me sad to hear people are apparently seeing Felix's recent actions in black and white, because I don't think they are meant to be seen that way at all: the situation is tricky, and his motivations are good. IMO, if the show just wanted us to hate someone, they would have had Zerek lead the insurrection by himself (though even Zerek is clearly a very complex character).
