139. Yeah, TTGL WAS silly, it parodied mecha-animes, but it was very serious at some points AND very epic too. It was all of those things and that's the reason I love it. Watching it second time makes you see things you didn't see before, understanding better the characters you hated before and stuff. 3: I liek your secret, OP.

111 - I think that would be really cool, as long as they don't start questioning if he's actually the son of God or not. But to see a nice guy just going around helping people, while suggesting that we should all like each other, even the "scum of society"? That would be awesome, even if it'd be controversial as hell.

117 - Just because BE EXCELLENT TO EACH OTHER is a good idea, it doesn't mean we should be more like them. God, I know I love Bill & Ted to bits but the world would be so screwed.

101 - Mostly because if you give honest feedback, you're called a "hater" or are labeled "jealous because you can't write this good". It's ridiculous. I'll comment with constructive critisism when asked by a friend. Any other time, I'll leave noncomital feedback, if any. Also, if I can't make it through a fic because it's horribly written, I won't leave any feedback at all.

143. Yeah, anyone who is popular in fandom and tries to be humble about it? TOTALLY LYING THROUGH THEIR TEETH. As a short-lived icon BNF, I know that these people eat up the attention, as I once did. Cliques will also form and new people/fans are totally looked down upon and judged, and if they're a teen, its even worse (since most of us are no-life 20-somethings who WILL think we're better than You). Get on our bad side? You'll be ousted forever. But not before you get dogpiled by our lackey horde. I've also always laughed at the people who have verbs for LJ names. Tres edgy, my friend. :P

The funny thing is? I checked the ship out for the "Jet is gay for Zuko" LULZ but stayed because the fic was just really, really good. And what makes it so good is that 90% of it is about finding a way for the two of them to actually be together in a way that makes sense. And now I actually ship them totally seriously and it's really embarrassing. >.>

I get it - people think that the movie's tellin them if they bugger up the planet enough, the brilliant 'Wha'Happen' guy from A Mighty Wind will become our Comedy President! Genius!

And I think a movie that can set up the entire first act, going through the exposition and introducing the main characters and their relationships with one another with barely any dialogue whatsoever, and successfully continue the movie with hardly any dialogue from the two leads throughout is bloody brilliant. A screenplay isn't all about the dialogue, after all.

And it's a much better movie than The Reader, for pity's sake. That one's just phoning in for gongs. It actually made my husband bored of Kate Winslet's tits, which I thought was impossible.
