171: I'm sure someone explains this elsewhere in the comments, but I just skimmed and didn't see it for all the wank, so just in case: Those spots are called phosphenes, and almost everyone gets them when their eyes are under pressure, like when you squeeze your eyelids closed or press right next to your eye with your finger. (They can also be caused by the side effects of some medications and by being electrically shocked.) They're perfectly normal. If you're seeing them when your eyes aren't under any pressure, that can be a bad sign, but just seeing them isn't inherently a problem.

135. Do you mean fandom as a whole or specifically Leverage fandom? Because there's a metric assload of Hardison/Eliot (it complements the Eliot/Nate and I'm not sure if there's Hardison/Nate... my brain can't compute that, sorry). And Hardison has the disadvantage of not being Christian Kane, who brought in ten billion fangirls who hate his hair.

As for myself, I ship Parker/Sophie/Maggie in any combination and only grudgingly admit the boys exist (and flipped a coin that one time for the BSG crossover).

Are you Afraid of the Dark was like my favourite show in mid to late elementary school and early middle school! It makes me ridiculously happy that you know about it/remember it! Awesome! :D

Honestly I do find it strange (I think fandoms do tend to have trouble writing POC's if nothing else; Eliot also seems to be the most popular character in fic, usually paired with Nate or Parker, which I personally don't ship but whatever..) but I did see some P/H fic (some of it porn, too) in

Ugh, this just makes me angry. I'm currently studying abroad in Japan, and even though I like anime/manga it wasn't the main reason I came here. There are a million and a half more interesting things to do and see in Japan, so deciding not to come here just because, you're 'not that into anime now,' is ridiculous.

And also, it makes me happy that you aren't going to come to Japan anymore. The less stupid people here, the better.
