I've lost count of how many times I've seen that movie. Definitely one of my favourites!

I ship Parker/Hardison too!

I don't think fandom is inherently racist, although that point is endlessly debatable as you can read on

metafandom.

I think fandom has slash-goggles on actually. What's with all the Nate/Eliot fic? Don't get me wrong I am not homophobic and have nothing wrong with slash fic. I read it and love it in other fandoms. But I just don't see the Nate/Eliot pairing at all. They have no sexual tension. Yet it's the most popular fic. Go figure.

You know the answer to the problem. When there's no fic - go write some. We all need to contribute to our small but growing fandom.

The nice thing about Hutton is that he's been in about eleventy billion things, so it's easy to find more. I find him most attractive as he is now, though.

Isn't it extremely sad that a show targeted towards a younger audience has a more tolerant fandom than a show like Supernatural?

I still re-watch the first 2 seasons of SPN (and select episodes from 3) but otherwise, I haven't been keeping up. I'm lucky because a lot of my flisters migrated to Merlin as well, though.

Just out of curiosity, what do you mean by "more tolerant"? As in, more tolerant of different opinions? Or more tolerant of difference in general? Just not sure why you would find it surprising that a show "targeted at a younger audience" would be "more tolerant," unless a) you're assuming young people are generally less tolerant, or b) you're assuming that more youth-oriented storylines might arouse less controversy.

Not to be annoying -- I just happen to like the darker story-lines of the 3rd and 4th season (though not the increased misogyny of the 3rd) of Supernatural, and don't think that darker subject matter necessarily leads to more wank.

#135 - I ship them, too! But back to your secret... I've mostly noticed Hardison/Eliot or Nate/Eliot fic. Maybe people just don't ship Hardison/Parker but that doesn't necessarily make them racists. People don't even ship Nate/Sophie (me being one of them) and they're practically canon *shrugs*

#169 - Ditto on not caring about the renewal and my f-list is mostly filled with Supernatural fandom... lol.

Hey, like what you like, but only half of those pairings are actually expressed in canon. Just because they're a heterosexual pairing doesn't Phoenix/Iris, Diego/Mia or Jake/Lana canon.

Diego/Mia was canon, though. Grossberg says the case in which Diego "died" was the case in which "you came to lose your boyfriend," the "you" in this case being Mia.

Well, OP, I'm brand new to 'Leverage' - I've only seen the first seven eps so far and I haven't even searched for comms on LJ yet (so I know nothing about what fandom is shipping for this show) - and Hardison/Parker is the only ship I'm into, so I'm with you here. They're cute, and funny, and sweet, and utterly lovable together. :)

I'm beginning to see a very faint glimmer of potential every now and then for Nate/Eliot, but not enough to actually ship it. And I love Sophie, but for some reason, I'm just not feeling the Nate/Sophie chemistry yet (or Sophie/Eliot either, for that matter.)

116. I wish wish wish the wildcard show was also based on voting, because I would vote for him until my hands bled. Of course the judges aren't gonna bring him back when they'll be too busy bringing back Anoop and Jasmine and all their other favs.
