If your friend's costume fits well, is well-constructed, has a nice wig, etc...then what would you be laughing at? 6 inches? LAME.

Make a BETTER costume than your friend, or shut up. Height does not make a cosplay. Quality sewing and wig-styling does. (I can understand being upset internally if you thought you'd make a better one, and said friend jumped in and usurped your plan, but...this makes no sense. Save your pettiness for people who can't sew)

I'm not defending the bashers, because I think the reasons they give are stupid and nonsensical. But I find it somewhat laughable that the defenders always complain about people expecting him to be a "clone of Neil" when that's exactly what his main purpose in the show was to be. There were obviously writers who wanted to develop him as his own character, but they were mostly overruled.

Sunrise wants it both ways: a clone of the popular character so they can keep putting out the same merchandise and not have to change their character lineup, and a full character of his own. They just can't be bothered to do the work for the latter, so they skip the necessary development and expect it to be okay because hey, he's Lockon.

"Kiss the Princess" saves her from the EDK and he's all 'AAAGH TRUE LOVE IT BLINDS' and, so, Good End, and then the narrator basically goes 'they hooked up and it was happy ever after'
"Kiss the King" makes the king blush and go 'Well, truly, I, too...' and then the narrator basically goes 'they hooked up and it was happy ever after'
"Kiss the Evil Dragon King" turns him into the beautiful princess who was cursed into becoming the dragon, and then the narrator basically goes 'they hooked up and it was happy ever after'
