You know, OP, I don't think you can deny that you don't want your friend to "compete" with you on cosplaying Ciel but I understand why you made the secret instead of telling your friend in her face about it.

I have a friend who just wouldn't listen to me when I tell her she would not make a better cosplay of a number of characters than everyone else because her physical traits are very different from those characters. I didn't tell her the reasoning though, because I know she's conscious. I just offered suggestions of more suitable characters to cosplay - this is the best a friend can do without risking the friendship.

When people don't listen, there's nothing much we can do other than letting them do whatever they want and find out the truth for themselves. Maybe they don't even care about the truth or public opinion. I don't think your intentions are entirely bad but you need to be more tactful in handling it.

I don't like him but I don't blame him. I just wish there was more than one line about his inferiority complex to Neil, then I might warm up to him a bit more. That said, I wish Gundam 00 aired between Friday's post and the submission cut off. Most of us watch the show as soon as it's out and a lot can happen in a single episode. That, along with F!S's one week delay, makes secrets about the latest episode feel like old news./lots of wishful thinking

I've tried... lightly explaining to her, even to the point that she's accused me of "being better than her".

I'm... the seamstress, I make the costumes. I wanted... to sew my costume for me and not for my friend.

I've tried reasoning in the form of "If I can do this version of Ciel, you can do that." Because that boy has so many damned outfits! But she's cut me off with the "I wanted to do that one..." Multiple times.

It's unfortunately become something of a war, now I -am- being Ciel, and so is she, with her boyfriend as Sebastian at the same height, mine is being Sebastian as well.

He and I have an eight inch height difference.

It's going to make things shakey for our friendship because now she's angry we aren't backing down.

109. Me too! Oh man, ME TOO!! I love that movie, I seriously can't even remember how many times I've seen it! And by this point all of my friends have gotten bored of the "Let's watch ElDorado!"-line I always drop when nobody else can think of anything to do. It's always so awesome to find other people like me (to prove that I'm not that obsessed after all).

103. OGC Cloud has a full range of emotions, which includes lighthearted dorkiness as well as brooding angst. Advent Children would have been a better movie if the creators had kept that in mind more.

112. I'm not in the fandom so I can't say anything about how compatible their personalities are (or aren't), but just because a pair of characters never canonically meet doesn't mean they can't be paired off believably.

This could have been written by me. That episode freaked me out terribly. I have very similar eye issues, with a continually and rapidly worsening prescription, which has made me terrified of going blind since elementary school.
Not that this is the place for health advice, but I was told that it's a problem with the way my eyes focus, that they've 'trained' themselves to focus well close up, and it tires and damages the muscles that allow focusing far. So if that's the same issue you have, it is repairable, and isn't necessarily a sign of impending blindness.
