And as your icon points out, Shawn/Jules means they have to find somewhere to put Gus. And a 3 person marriage probably isn't the way to go for Jules. It'd almost be like acquiring a pair of kids. (Though I generally-based on the first two seasons-interpret it as Shawn is fairly serious about Jules but not nearly mature enough yet, or ready to settle down, while Jules likes him but isn't interested until he finishes growing up.)

I shipped this starting with the first episode I ever saw (which wasn't the pilot).

Shawn/Jules is cute enough, but their near misses with each other aren't nearly as painful as if I actually shipped it, because these two definitely have all the chemistry.

It isn't the fact that she has different beliefs to me that makes me feel like I shouldn't.... trust or love her character and think her awesome. It's that she puts so much blind faith in something that has not a shred of proof that she risks the lives of her entire fleet, the last of humanity. Time and again it's all justified by fogy old texts and visions and....

She risks her fleet on it, her people on it. And the fact that she does so so easily and with such blind faith is disturbing. But still I love her and trust her. Which I SHOULDN'T.

The fact that she believes in something I don't doesn't bother me. It's the potential and illogical danger she puts everybody else in because of it.
