You wouldn't think it, but the fandom is actually littered with smut. A good chunk of the decently written fics are actually chock full of it (at least the ones featuring Troy and Gabriella as a couple are), which is a shame in a lot of instances because it's all some people care about.

Sakura/Kakashi? That looks interesting. I'll have to go check it out. (It's been a long time since I've ventured into the Naruto fandom, tbqh. Should be fun.)

There are a lot of really good fics out there for Sakura/Kakashi... out of the many couples I've come across in Naruto (and, seriously, I ship lots in Naruto) their fanbase comes closest to breaking (if they have not) the 99% of fanfics are crap rule AND having a lot of fics to read from. There are certain writers out there that write mainly or only for that pairing who do extremely well.

I'd suggest looking up SilverShine, leafygirl, sakura_haru, and ronsmyhero on ff.net... definitely SilverShine tho'. I could recommend you many stories to read, but those 4 write quite a bit KakaSaku, and they seem like a good place to start out. Seriously, they've converted me to being mainly a KakaSaku fan and not having Sakura shipped with anyone else.

It's not that bad. When I was under 18, I created a sock account so I could join some communities flagged with adult content. And I tried to change the birthdate on this account, too, because seeing the adult content cut popping up on my flist all the time was aggravating. I'm sure lots of fandom teens do the exact same thing, and I'm sure your friends will understand. Seriously, this isn't an earth-shaking lie. Just come clean in a post.

113. I usually ship Gus/Juliet and Shawn/Lassiter, but I do agree that there's more chemistry between Jules and Lassiter than there is between Shawn and Jules. The Shawn/Jules stuff usually feels tacked on to me...like the writers just went "we need romance!"

105. Honestly no, while I like some slash pairings, I don't tend to seek fic out for them, as I mostly want to read stories about women, so thus I don't really read slash either. And it doesn't make you sexist or whatever.

114. God, those type of fen annoy the hell out of me. Seeing it first does not make you uber special. I have been in exactly one fandom from before it go famous, and it really didn't make me better then anybody that came after me.

116. I love that movie. I am not ashamed of it. I don't think it is the greatest thing ever but for a romance it was quite good. And I really think Rose is one of the most amazing female characters ever.
