I have no opinion about the secret, but shout out to the secret maker; this secret is hella well-designed! In fact, several of the secrets today are really well-made, aesthetically! This one is extra nice, though, IMO.

I just wish it had been set pre-RotJ rather than afterwards. From what we saw in Empire, and Droids, and the SWHS, that would have been the more interesting Fett show. The amoral bounty hunter, not the anti-hero that Mandalorian painted him as.

Yeah, I hate it too. I'm all for critical reading and delving into the moral constraints, conventions, and framing of stuff but a lot of this just seems like a revamped "how to be edgy about popular stuff, now with clickbait." Idk, I like nuanced villains and antagonists, so I think them being "right" a little is fun, and there are definitely some media where, well, the villain was right because the media itself is written from a flawed moral perspective, but it feels like those videos/essays discourage critical thinking in favor of stan philosophy.

This is one of my favourite things about Kate Rusby, that she doesn't change pronouns in her traditional stuff.

It's also one of my least favourite things, because, like you say, it really shouldn't be something noteworthy.

The Famous Five and The Secret Seven were my faves as a kid, but wow, there was a lot of racism. It was the time and the society in which the books were written, not that's any excuse.

I think this was meant to go up at the top.

But, Blyton was picked up even at the time as being racist, so I don't think we can blame then society. Her sexism and classism are period attitudes though, still wrong, but understandable. God, the first FF book begins with George's family saying they are now so poor they are down to their last seaside villa, private island, dinghy, and only one servant. I mean, horrors of want there.
