101. It's ok, I did too. They were brilliant. The opening credits themselves deserve some kind of reward.

107. I felt numb when I read it in the comic. Like, not an uncaring numb, more like a "I can't believe that happened numb". Also, in the movie, JEH performance in that scene was really beautiful, so it was hard not to get emotional.

101.) Hey, me too. The first time I saw the movie, as embarassing as it is, I cried through most of it. I just couldn't believe how perfect what I was seeing was.

107.) No, I think I understand that. Some people simply are able to connect more when they're watching a movie than when they're reading a book. You're watching these characters move around, talk, breathe, interact, and then of course you've got the music in the background.
Either way, it's an incredibly powerful and depressing scene. T.T

I agree. The different aspects to actually hearing the music, the choke in his voice and seeing the tears really stream down his face can affect someone more than just seeing a picture of it. The movie did a great job of bringing forth powerful emotions.

102. I liked Adrian in the book alright, but when I saw the film I pretty much had the same 'draw hearts around him' reaction. I think it was the fact that in the book, he was just there and kind of manipulative. I read the ending, and thought, 'well, he's cool, and has time management down, but whatever.' Then I saw the movie and he became my favorite character. I think it was the look in his eyes after Dan slapped the shit out of him. It was just so tragic and beautiful.

107. Me too. It was a good scene in the comic, but the music and the amazing acting really pulled it through to being a fantastic scene. I think it might be because emotion is so hard to convey in the comic medium.

131. I moved to SheezyArt without telling my DA watchers just so I could get away from that. I hate it when people just +fav everything for no reason. One person who watches me found me after I had been on DA for about two years, and went and faved everything I'd ever done. The never commented, not even on my journals or main page. It was fucking annoying.
