What are some nonsense opinions you have that you can't really defend?

Here's mine - people who back into their parking spaces are selfish/inconsiderate.

Eh, I could see this if they're the type of person who barrels through the parking lot and doesn't give a shit about pedestrians or whichever other vehicles are passing through the area. And then they just do whatever the hell they like without pausing or considering anyone else, not giving a clue to anybody nearby that they are backing into the parking space.

Oh god my friend and I are irrationally annoyed by people who back into parking spaces. They seem to be everwhere in this town and they are all so bad at it that it takes forever.

If you can't write or read cursive I think you are a little bit dumb. Watching people "sign" legal documents by printing their name just brings out the judgmental bit of me.

It's a dumb opinion because if you can't read or write it, that generally means you were never taught it and I shouldn't think people are dumb just for not being taught something. But the thread is about nonsense opinions so there you have it.

Like, the vibes between backing in and finding a pull-through are very different...

ONCE went to a place where the parking was back-in only, like there were signs and everything, and that was a STRESSFUL experience.

Mine is that there are only 2 aesthetically correct times of day: 34 mins past noon, and quarter past 3 in the afternoon.

Oh, that entirely depends on the parking space. If you have to pull out into the road, then backing in is entirely preferable to the people who back out into traffic.

(Full disclosure: I live in New England, where fully half the parking spots are designed by misanthropic sadists.)

I hate when people post incomplete works and author notes about "not sure where this is going, but we'll see!" and think that means it is still in the drafts stage and shouldn't be posted at all.

I hate robins (the birds). I have no specific reason for it except that they're not sparrows, which are clearly superior. It's illogical, I know, and I have no idea where it came from, but still...robins suck.

People who speed up when you try and overtake them, even though they spend the rest of the drive at ten mph below the speed limit, should be shot. Same goes for people who tootle along at ten below the limit in general.

Music in bars and restaurants is too goddamn loud.

Apartments/condos/townhouses suck a lot actually.

Any vehicle with wheels should have a helmet or a seat belt. Busses/trains are on thin ice. Rented scooters are right out.

Fahrenheit is the superior scale for weather temperature. "It's so hot it's 40 degrees out here!" means nothing. You are weak. No sympathy. "It's so hot it's 104 degrees out here!" A respectable thing to complain about. Get some water champ, you need it. Also, one 0 degrees is actually pretty cold while the other is just starting to get cold. Everything about celsius is so fucking lame. If you aren't boiling water shut the hell up.

Skibbity toilet isn't stupid because the kids say it, it's stupid because adults say it to complain about kids saying it. It means nothing, it is only a reference to itself.
