It does suck when you suddenly realise they're getting older. I've loved that team from the time I saw the first movie. Led me to the series and anticipating the rest of the movies through my childhood.

TOS movies had such a great feel to them.

I don't think there could be any argument against the fact that Jesus and Mary Magdalene (who was a learned lady *and* an important apostle *and* writer of her own gospel, NOT a 'fallen woman') loved one another deeply, even passionately.

Were they as man and wife? Lovers in body as well as soul? Maybe, maybe not. But the Christ doesn't show His Risen Self first to just anyone, you know. That's a love that transcends the ordinary, as well it should. I also believe that it's all good. ;)

I strongly believe there is a chance they were married and I consider that union part of my own somewhat eclectric faith. And no, I'm not being sucked in by the books and movies about it - I was into the idea and the history behind it long before that stuff. Don't feel bad about it, anon.
