Adding a note for someone takes less than half a minute and lasts for a loooooong time. hth.

It's remarkable how the story does that, isn't it? You get to see the good-intentioned kid within Light before he becomes all HELLO MASS MURDERER PERFECTING HIS MWAH HA HA LAUGH OVER HERE. You delight seeing him escape from every trap laid for him, because watching both the trap and the escape are twisty and clever. Even as I waited for someone to put him down like the rabid dog he'd become, I cackled with glee over every new move of his. It's remarkably done.

Not much wrong with you... even on pic, it's pretty damn hot.

I had such a heart-wringy moment when we see L's image watching him/watching over him/waiting for him/whatever interp you want to give it. That moment was perfectly structured.

Shantae ♥ They're such a cool company, and Matt Bozon is one of my favourite artists. I really wish I had a DSi or a 3DS so I could throw my money at them for that game. Bozon kept teasing about it in his newsletter when it was assumed to get a retail release years ago, and I guess I've been waiting far too forever :(

I find that I burn out on the general atmosphere of gaming communities (and games in turn) if I get wrapped up internet drama revolving around companies doing silly things (or what people perceive to be silly things). So, for me, it's always best to just distance myself and just play games.

Mostly, he's not even dead. He's just stuck in space. They might even bring him back if they want.In any case, he needs to stay as far away from the facility (and humanity) as possible.

It depends on the fandom. I've had it go both ways.

I tried to get into the LARP fandom (NERO, to be exact) when I was 17 and found that, to my surprise, I was only one of two (out of 40) people at my local chapter under the age of 18. This ended up being one of the major reasons I never stuck around in the fandom - I was constantly talked down to like a retarded puppy both in and out of character.

On the other hand, I'm also a rather rabid fan of the Warcraft fandom, which seems to be the perfect age for me - almost the entirety of my 104 account guild is 18-24ish. We have a couple of people over (our oldest member is 36) but nobody younger (18+ guild).

I joined a small Digimon fandom at 9 when most of the people were 15-25. I did not fit in and got picked on like nobody's business. In fact, I'm glad the forum went down, cause they were elitists who seemed to think I should "respect my elders" by, uh... not treating them the same as I treat everyone else.

I mean, with a couple-of-weeks-off-retirement Dad, I'm the one who should be lecturing people about respecting their elders.

Maybe it has something to do with having to rely on your wits, possibly others, and how everyone is basically brought down to the same level?

It would kind of end the point of money/trade if your just living day to day trying to survive, taking what you need. There's not much room for luxury or to be stingy when you've lost everything of material value over anyone else.

Just saying that for some, surviving seems like a better worthwhile goal than what assume is the status quo in reality (get a job, make money, get mortage, family, retire, general accumulation of wealth).

Yep, this happened to me with the JACK (furry comic) fandom. I joined when I was 12 and was constantly harassed on the forums and Skype by other, older fans. Making fun of a 13 year old by inviting him to chats/calls then kicking him for no reason other than his age was apparently the funniest damn thing they could possibly imagine. And these were adults, not even like... high school kids.

I guess some people didn't like Yasu, the baby Natsuhi threw off a cliff and miraculously survived, grew up and became Shkanontrice. Also in the miracle kakera where she accepted the baby, they became Lion, the heir to the Ushiromiya family. Also Kyrie and Rudolf kill everyone because they are now evil. And Shkanontrice blows up the house and errbody dies. I think. I've forgotten.

In EP 8, which people hate much more, everyone dies and Battler survives but gets amnesia and the whole story is him trying to make sense of his memories. For example, Lamdadelta is a cake.

tbh I'm pretty sure that believing, or knowing, that a zombie apocalypse wouldn't affect you emotionally or mentally might be worse. Knowing that a lot of people are either dead or essentially having lost all faculty of will, but you'll likely just blink at it and move on like some sociopath. I fall into that camp, and I worry more about what that says about me :(

I'll just go ahead and blame my dad for instilling all that stupid "BE AWARE THE apocalypse is coming/end is nigh/bullshit" junk since I was a child to the point where I actually have plans for all that including a zombie apocalypse. SO STUPID. I am basically promising to survive the hell out of anything as a general "fuck you" to my dad. VERY STUPID. /smallrant

If someone is seriously triggered just by seeing a word, they should stay away from F!S and any other place they know it might pop up. I dislike the "people with triggers are oversensitive!" a lot but if just seeing a trigger warning actually triggers you, then yeah, no. Get out, for your own safety.

35 is missing the "trigger warning" trigger. It just says "Trigger warning for ". I'm guessing it's supposed to say suicide?
