Shipping Kyoko/Sayaka more than HomuMado is hardly an unpopular opinion. I actually ship both, but I'm admittedly tired of the way a lot of KyoSaya fans treat HomuMado, and I do think it's preeeetty out there to say that KyoSaya is more canon than HomuMado, as a lot of them do. And I'm also tired of those fans hating on Homura, because Kyoko isn't any better.

The OP is basically saying that the people who are ranting about Gwen/Lance not happening are just butthurt Merlin/Arthur fans using "BUT THEY BETRAYED THE REAL LEGEND!!1!" as an excuse to rage because their ship got "sunk" by Arthur/Gwen, which is just ridiculous. The show is full on slash fangirl fanservice. Merlin/Arthur is unsinkable, and not in the Titanic-sense.

I know what you mean, OP. Despite being really into the fandom during the movie-high era, I never managed to read too much LOTR fic (or any Middle-earth based fic). I found some excellent stuff from time to time, but I didn't really crave it.

I agree with the first part of this, but...I'm confuzzled here. I might be reading this wrong, but you say that some pairing isn't canon so people shouldn't get upset when others don't ship it, which is good and I agree ( although spread that to all pairings, canon or not.) Then you say it bothers you that people ignore this other shipping-related thing that is also not canon.

Did you just contradict yourself? Or have I been staring at a computer too long, and am imagining things?

Is it that he picks them or they pick him? Presumably the less you've got going on/the less you feel responsible for taking care of at home the more likely you're going to be to jump at the offer to leave everything behind. I'm not sure never making ties in the hopes that someone will come offer you time and space travel is a great idea.

That would probably make more sense! I was just trying to think of any red headed characters in Lilo and Stitch (though I think myrtle had curlier hair now that I think about it), and I didn't consider a crossover.
