Learn to mod a game (or develop your own, but the former will be faster if you want to focus on plot).

I suggest something where you can script dialog sequences between npcs. Try Fallout 3/New Vegas or Skyrim.

There's a competitive-based Pokémon site called the Nugget Bridge that branched off from the Smogon because of a few reasons you mentioned. It's a lot smaller than Smogon and has more focus on the irl Pokémon tournaments than Nuzlocke, though, so I'm not sure if it's something you'd like to look into.

Sometimes I love her, but sometimes IDK what they're doing with the way they're writing her, and I hate the way she & Andy were so cute for a while and then just terrible. I really like her with what's-his-name, Plop, but it's weird to me that they're endgame now. :\
