We're fast approaching the end of the first (partial) TV season of the first year of Fandom Secrets. Not that I *really* think that will mean much, since so many of the secrets now are game and anime-based (and god will I be glad when role-playing secrets get the boot), but I'm hoping for a summer of dishing on TV finales.

Check it.

Also, what do you guys think about my periodically picking one secret from the index and posting it in a GC comment for discussion? Can't be and everyday thing, and on days when I could do it, I probably wouldn't if there were plenty of threads already, but just for those slow days that coincide with my availability.

Or, if reaction to the idea is positive, I don't care if other people do it, as long as we're not over-running the current comm with old secrets. You might say "What's the point?" but I say 2007 was a long time ago and it might be interesting to see how opinions have changed/remained.

I realized today that I gave my pre-series college-aged Phil Dunphy blue eyes instead of brown. I can't decide if I just want to live with it, knowing that none of their kids can hope to have proper eye colors or delete and redo him.

The pro to deleting is that it's just pre-series college, and he hasn't even gone on a date with Claire, let alone kiss her, and they're kind of on the outs right now while she dates bad boy Shane Bertino.

The cons are that he's already friends with Cam and Mitch and he's gone through this whole story where he's pined for Claire, changed himself to look more like Shane, which only pushed her away, argued with her, and has just started to make friends with the Llama and a cheerleader who are helping him find his school spirity, dorky self -- which ultimately will draw Claire to him after she realizes Shane is a cheating horndog.

That's too much to throw away over a pair of blue eyes, right? Also, I don't do mods or any cheat that requires boolprop and I don't have the Open for Business EP, so that is not advice that will help me decide.

Hi guys,

I went to a psychiatrist yesterday to get antidepressants in addition to my therapy since I've been getting worse instead of better.

But since being a nursing student has gotten me a bit paranoid regarding medication that I haven't tried previously and I really don't trust most doctor's anymore I'm now unsure about taking them (stupid, eh?)

Anyway I'd really love if you could share any experiences or useful links/bits of informations with me. I'm doing research of my own as well but there is way too much bullshit out there about psychotropic drugs to find any really useful sites.

Secret 1 - Rivers of London, Moon Over Soho, Whispers Underground by Ben Aaronovitch

I fucking love these (audio) books. Kobna Holdbrook-Smith brings Ben Aaronovitch's characters to life so brilliantly, I'm worried that any TV/film adaptation won't live up to my expectations. I saw some casting suggestions on Tumblr which made me angry because they felt so wrong*.

I don't think I've been this passionate about a book series before and I'm a little worried I'm going to turn into one of those obsessive super fans. [sad face emoticon]

*(Richard Armitage is waaaay to young to play Nightingale, Mark Gatiss or Peter Capaldi would be my choice and not because of the Doctor Who connections, in my head and the way Holdbrook Smith reads Nightingale makes me think of a cross between Mycroft Holmes and Malcolm Tucker. Plus, both look great in a three piece suit.

I don't think she wasn't pretty enough, but I pictured someone like Grace Kelly, so she just didn't fit my mental image at all.
