As with a lot of "bad" fandoms, the fandom actually isn't too bad if you stay off the main thoroughfares and find your own circle of friends. I just block and TS anyone who insists that you're a vile racist if you picture Cecil as a white guy (seriously, "go kill yourself" is not a productive race dialogue), and my WTNV fandom experience is quite good.

If it's by Clarisonic, check your warranty length. Mine died earlier this year and no one would do anything because it was about a month out of warranty. Understandable, but I'm not paying for a replacement.

Yeah, the fandom isn't that bad! Aside from the occasional SJW telling people to kill themselves to poison the pot, the people are generally cool. A lot of the fanart coming out of Tumblr is super beautiful.

this isn't going to effect future WW releases. some dozen people have got it early, out of the entire fucking world

this isn't the first game WW release and it won't be the last. It's still leak friendlier than staggered releases. relax

*sighs* This is why I prefer to meet people when we both going to convention. I'm frigging so shy, it's painfully hard for me to talk to people unless I'm really really comfortable. Then I went to my first HP convention - granted I didn't say much, but it was so nice to be around fannish people who like the same shit as me, and even if I didn't say much the first time around, they knew I was enjoying myself. The next HP convention was much easier. Hell, the last HP convention, I actually did a fan fiction panel with some fellow fannish friends and didn't have a total melt down.

But yeah... even if the friend was shy, "please, and thank you" is always a must!!

Man, this makes me miss my former rp partner. : /

We had tons [like...somewhere around 20] and another one planned that never came to be. Oh, and we did rp them all.

So uh...let's see. [I'm leaving out pretty much all the plot as a heads up]

1. Rev war [...makes sense with the characters, promise.]
2. Roman Empire
3. Sci-fi one
4. A destopian/sci-fi-ish one, with a revolution brewing
5. One where people had this app that could tell them when they'd met their ~true love~ - but only if both people had that app, and it was on. [There were a few more complications, but that's the general gist.]
6. One where one of them was a former pornstar
7. One where one was a fairy
8. Where they were both nagas
9. A punk band and they had...serious issues with the whole 'relationship' thing
10. One was an angel
11. One where they were stuck in this rebirth cycle, where they'd meet, fall in love, and one would always kill the other.
12.Police officers
13. Pirates
14. Vampires
15. childhood friends [following them as they grew up]
16. "dark" versions of themselves

As said in the secret on the other page... the tumblr fandom, yes. Folks need to remember that's not the only place fandom exists.

But they did say they weren't bored. They said they were "fine"...they nodded, etc.

I'm also an introvert, I have been at gatherings where everybody else is having fun and talking and socializing and whatever. I'm the one on the side watching and listening. I'm actually not having a bad time. People will come to me and ask me a million times if I'm "okay" or if I'm enjoying myself and I will assuring them that I'm "okay" or I'm "fine" and I really am. Maybe she's just not very effusive in real life.

(I can also understand anxiety over the check as someone up above mentioned about "missing the window". I have similar thoughts when it comes check time if it wasn't already brought up. That said, I have managed to learn to ask up front how we're going to be paying/splitting. So this person being talked about may have to learn how to do that. Or maybe they really are just a mooch, I don't know. If it's truly damaging the friendship (and I can understand why an experience like this could) then the OP needs to either get it out there and explain what is bothering them or just tactfully back off the friendship.

And remember in the future to make clear they plan on splitting the bill.)

I crush on people whom I have shared interests and chemistry with. They also tend to be female-ish people, but that's not a hard and fast rule.

Seeing her books at my grocery store has made me give up writing.

And nothing of value was lost.

I'm a woman who likes to date women. I am not interested in transmen. I am open to transwomen. I don't care what their orientation is as long as they like women. Or even if they don't usually like women, if they like me then I'm good. I could take or leave sex.

I'm pretty sure, I would like to get closer to anybody that passes my standards of attraction, while clothed.
