Both the off-screen cons in Leverage. (Eliot fought a combat diver underwater with spear guns? Hardison faked a volcanic eruption? Sophie on a topless beach? And then, something with a monkey? And Hardison and Sophie getting some kind of reward dressed as royalty and a general? What the heck did Nate and Sophie burn?)

Yup, I get that. It's wrong. That's why I said what I did. It makes the people saying we shouldn't like that woman character because she's a bad person look stupid.

Edit to say that if you want to hate a bad character I don't think that's wrong either. I mean, that lady is seriously fucked up and deserving of hate.

I have watched my brother's transition - he is only 5ft and far from a badass but he is VERY MUCH a passing male. It's not an easy process and I admire the hell out of your decision to go this route. It's expensive, hard, and not for everyone. And you're very brave, I know this... er, secondhand? Watching it is NOT the same as experiencing of course, but... *hugs* Sorry I just mean to say your inspiration is nothing to be ashamed of. Chess is actually pretty amazing, and is far more about social and political and war-specific issues with Russia, America, etc. It's also a love story but kind of one that's meant not to be admired, just tragic.
