This so much! All those sentamenal dramatic movies where we're suposed to empathize with the struggles of the main character usually just leave me rolling my eyes at the over the top dramatics and angst. Especially when it seems like the characters go out of their way to make the problem worse before figuring out that the answer was right infront of them all along.

Granted I'm also an asexual introvert so natrally I'm not going to get those movies where the main character is sad and depressed because they haven't found the perfect man or women in their lives .... but still...

You're pretty much in for a rough time as an author in any fandom if you don't write porn or ship any pairings. Gen stories are widely unloved in fandom. :(

There's nothing wrong if you don't enjoy porn and especially nothing wrong if you want your comm to remain PG-13. Honestly, while I do enjoy a good smutty fic, there are a lot of times I prefer to just read something that doesn't get smutty.

Some people are naturally gorgeous, though? Even with photos that are clearly not photoshopped (such as candid/fan photos). (i.e. my icon, who I will gush about being beautiful and perfect as much as I please). I mean, yeah make-up, but there are some people who are just naturally pretty and that's fine.
I and I get what you mean, bu I can't really see a world where people go "man, that photoshop artist is REALLY talented in making this woman look prettier than she really is."

Wow, I did not realize this was actually like, a disorder that causes problems. I'm really hypermobile but I always thought it was just some cool thing that I could show off while drunk, not a possible reason for my intense joint pain. I'm actually kind of bummed haha.

Yeah, I thought it was jarring at first too, but it got better in today's episodes. At least in my opinion.

It helps that his VA is 36 and naturally sounds like that.
