48. Way to break actually fairly deep characters down into horrid stereotypes. :/ The seme/uke thing they play out is for their fans. They're equals to one another. It's perfectly plausible that Kaoru would choose to mount his brother as opposed to the other way around, and in fact, I find it more than likely that it would play out that way sometimes.

See, your logic, in my mind, works against you. Maybe it's just me, I don't know. Since Kaoru is the quieter one, I find it more likely that he'd bottle up his feelings even more than Hikaru does (which, as we know, is a lot), and it would eventually just explode.

skfjgh I'm terrible at explaining things. Basically, try to break out of the awful seme/uke stereotypes and you'll find that things can get a loooot more interesting.

Please don't assume how you feel is how everyone feels. Yeah, it's better if they see it where you're name obviously attached, but if they're posting it for others to see IT'S A COMPLIMENT BECAUSE THEY LIKED IT AND WANT TO SHARE IT.

I can't say much about the pairing - Garcia/JJ is my CM femslash pairing of choice - but I have to agree with you. I've yet to find a single fic for any pairing that was IC and interesting and well written. There are fics that aren't bad, but they're just...boring.

I don't know what it is about this fandom, where there is so much groundwork for mind-fuckery, drama, intense plots and amazingly kinky sex, but no one does anything with it. Everyone seems to do the same things.

I'm so tired of people being all "They cut that song from the movie!" because from what I recall, that song was cut from the original show, but they just included it on the Original Cast Album for the heck of it (I don't know the actual reason they included it, actually, just that it was cut from the show).

25. As an artist myself, I can honestly say I don't give a shit. If it's the person's original creation then I can be a bit more understanding. But fanart itself is derivative of the main work. Fanart stealing is sort of just continuing the chain.

25. Well, I don't know about art -- I'm not an artist. But I am a translator of Japanese song lyrics, and... well, most translators seem to feel the same way about people who take their translations and repost them on other websites and forums and whatnot that you do about people who use fanart as icons, but personally I find it kind of flattering, even when they don't credit me. As long as they're not trying to claim it as their own, I'm cool with it. (Though people will probably say that it's not the same and that art takes far more creativity and work and so forth, but... oh well.)

31. I like Key quite a bit, myself, but I don't love the art. Well, actually, the backgrounds and such are often quite nice, in my opinion, but the character design is way too moe moe for me, and I don't find it attractive at all. But some people like it, so... eh, to each their own.

39. Who says an icon is supposed to be a representation of yourself? I mean, I certainly don't look like text on a white background.

I'm not a fan of those character designs either, but I thought Air's redeeming (and what most fans do rave about) factors are its amazing visuals, atmosphere, and direction (the plot too, I suppose, minus the less-than-stellar ending). It makes for a very calm-viewing experience though, somewhat dreamy in that regard, so if your not a fan of very slow-paced series, then you really wouldn't like this.
