Being as it's a derivative of the main work, I really don't see what all the hub-bub is about. So, the fanartist doesn't get paid, but the studio artist does, so what? How about the fanartist apply for the merchandising license and the original creator gets a percentage of that licensing fee? How about that? It's such a hypocritcal thing.

48) See, here's the thing. I can understand having a preference one way or the other, really, I can. I'm in Heroes fandom and tbqh I think Mohinder topping Sylar is wayyyy more interesting (and tends to be more IC actually) than the other way around. And if you hadn't phrased this in such a phenomenally stupid way, more people might have agreed with you.

Unfortunately, you decided to bring up bullshit about "quiet and gentle" = "lawl uke" and ruined your entire argument. Nice going.

While I like FF6 and 9 more (in that order), 12 is certainly one of the best FF games in recent years. Everyone in that game -no matter if they're good or bad- is likable and it's just a great plot with no forcefed romance or overt melodrama.

13. Actually, it was officially Miguel/Tulio, too! Apparently the creative team behind it thought that that kind of relationship between the two would make things interesting, but then the bigwigs nixed it. It would seem that in some versions of the captioning there are still lines like "Dinner is served, dear!" etc.

Chel is badass, though. That woman knows what she wants and GETS it, damn it! D:<

25. Agreed. I'm so fucking sick of this too, and even more sick of all the lamers out there who actively mock the artists (and the non-artists who support them) for feeling this way. It's bullshit. And it drives me up the wall that it's asses like these who gets Japanese fanartists to shut down their websites or block foreign IPs. It's utterly unacceptable, but at the same time there doesn't seem to be anything that can be done about it >_<

*shrugh* I think it wouldn't hurt to spend like... less than 10 minutes, push the mail button (usually the site have this button right?), and ask them in simple English asking for permission. Usually they will say OK though.

Personally, the only thing I don't like about Franziska's design is that none of the character designers seem able to figure out wtf her hair color is supposed to be. BLUE? MINT GREEN? SILVER? As one of the fans that made this pairing somewhat mainstream, I'm going to defend it by letting you know why I first started shipping it.

I started to pair the two, consenting adults together because I couldn't justify having either one of them bang the eight year old girl without going to bed, thinking about how fast I'd be going to Hell.
