He's early into transition and while I've been gendering him as he wants me to, I don't see him as a guy at all. Will this change over time? Will I ever be able to look at him the way I look at regular guys?

I truly love him and I want this to work, but this is my first time dating a trans man and I'm having some difficulties.

Casual advice follow up request.

Tldr a couple of months back I went as moral support for a dudes hr complaint only for him to be a giant ass and make his mgr cry. I feel really embarrassed about attending and bad for his mgr.

I'm now back at work and dude has been transferred. However I see his manager sometimes and I want to apologise and explain I has no idea the meeting was gonna be like that.

Should I? I've given her an awkward smile in passing. But should I go over and ask how she is? Leave well enough alone since our teams don't really work together? Just continue casual existence but if we are stuck in the kitchen together have the usual weather chat to let her know I don't agree with dude?

Or should I really let it go and try not to think about it? Nothing bad as happened to me and no one but she and I know why dude transfered. But I feel bad sooooo.

I don't think I'd ever seen the concept of "self-insert fic" taken quite that literally before.

I'm not entirely clear on what happened. I like StrangelyKatie, but this particular project didn't appeal to me that much, and I haven't been keeping up with Tumblr all that much, so I sort of found out that it had come out after it was cancelled.
