I want to reblog several very long meta posts but when I try, it makes a "read more" link to the original post and I can't get the original text. According to google, the solution is the "save as text". However, the button for this isn't showing up for me.

I did get this button one time before but I haven't seen it since. I'm not rebloging from people I'm following so they're not on my dash. I just want these particular pieces of meta. Is it something the OP of the post is doing (which is strange as I am rebloging from multiple other people)? If so, how do they do that?

Or, is there a way to get the "save as" button back? Thanks :)

Where are you looking for the "save as text" button? Because it moves around a lot and doesn't necessarily announce itself unless you click on it. Last I checked, I think it's in the top right-hand corner?

Also: is it a "keep reading" or a link to the post--because there's a difference, and if it's a "keep reading" then this makes me think somebody specifically inserted a keep reading, so you wouldn't be able to get rid of it.

how do people even post fanvids without it getting flagged for copyright violations? i mashed up part of a song with scene (a minute-twenty of ridiculousness and intended as parody) and it immediately got flagged. i'm disputing it, but i'm wondering if anyone has advice? it's the first fanvid i've ever made so i don't really get this part of fandom at all. maybe i just shouldn't post to youtube?

Flip the picture and speed or slow the sound slightly, that avoids most of the bots. Don't post during periods of low traffic. And get lucky. It isn't just bots, there are people who flag for fun even though it isn't an infringement and they are not copyright holders.

That said, I don't think that gooseberries would go particularly well with goose. IDK tho, I've never tried it.

Meh, they make better jam, than substituting them for cranberries/cranberry sauce. (Wouldn't stuff a bird with them nononono.) Tho' everything's so expensive food-wise, I might just go with gooseberries instead, this year, since they're free.

...er, they smell like feet, by the way. Before they're cooked, I mean.

My sister and I are 90% sure we will be going on our trip in March next year. We want to spend like 4 days in NYC and 5 days in DC. What would be the cheapest/easiest way to get from NYC to DC.

So far, the fastest is flying.
Cheapest is renting a car (as far as we can figure).

We just can't figure out which would be better.

Also, I would love any advice from anyone with experience in either city in regards to places to visit/eat/stay. Though for DC we think we know what hotel we will be staying at.

Had an argument somewhere with someone. If someone wrote an Inside Out crossover with something, about the emotions of another canon's character- would the emotions be fan-characters or not.

I can't see them as such because the emotions as I see them are a part of the individual and are SO involved with the character that I just wouldn't feel right considering them fan characters. While being a part of the setting, fan-characters are (or should be) their own individual and not reliant on another character.

The emotions are literally the character's feelings personified. Riley's emotions were still Riley in some manner. They were working FOR her, they are a part of her, they care about the things important to her. The character's emotions are as much a "fan character" as someone's interpretation of a Slytherin or Ravenclaw Harry Potter is.

They are too close to the canon character to be considered "fan characters". It would feel dishonest and kind of akin to plagiarism to consider them such.

(TBQH, to my ear "You owe the other person an explanation!" gives off a strong vibe of "You owe me a chance to argue or guilt you out of your decision--or at least get in a few zingers.")
