I have people coming tomorrow. I have known for half a year (!) that this was when they'd show up and that, yeah, I should have the house ready by then. So I really can't claim I haven't had time to clean. But is it ready? It so fucking is not.

It's 1am here. I still have a kitchen, a bathroom, a hallway, and if there's ANY time left at all, my own bedroom left to do. Please recommend your favorite music to clean by - need motivation. D:

I hate watching those YouTube videos where the speaker, usually a guy reviewing some show or game, talks in an extremely rapid, very excited style that makes them sound like they're just going on a rant.

My friend loves watching this type of thing, so I have to with her sometimes, but the speakers' voices grate on my last nerve.

So what styles of speaking do you hate listening to?

I'm missing the juicy deets but apparently a Tumblr user by the name of 'Zubat' scammed a bunch of people out of money in the name of Leelah Alcorn/Transgenders.

And now everyone's all up in arms saying 'DON'T MAKE FUN OF THE PEOPLE GETTING SCAMMED!' as if it's not the biggest irony to see Tumblr falling for this kind of stuff. For a website that collectively shouts and stamps their feet to claim they are SO much more self educated and better than commonfolk, they sure as shit don't know how to do any research for themselves.

I'm feeling really depressed right now because I told my brother I have plans this past weekend for tomorrow and I can't watch his kid (I was never asked to, it was just expected of me) and he never made other arrangements because he thinks I'm gonna watch my niece when I'm hanging out with my friend even though I told him no I'm not doing that. He tried to bribe me with getting me and friend pizza when I told him and I still said no. It really upsets me because he has no respect for me and when I went off on him about it and how I didn't choose to have a kid and she's not my responsibility. He even told me it was up to me to find someone to watch his kid.

What brought this on is that he reminded me about watching my niece tomorrow and I reminded him I already had plans and I wouldn't be able to watch her so he better make other arrangements. He goes to night school and I have watched her before when he needed me to.

Right now, my niece's mom is not an option because she checked into a mental health facility.

I'm just upset about him not respecting me and not taking anything I ever say seriously. I'm just gonna avoid my house tomorrow and be at my friend's until I'm sure he's left or whatever he does, and I also plan on putting my phone on silent or turning it off as well.

What is the most you've ever paid for a dragon?

I just bid 700 gems for a gen 1 goldenrod/crimson/crimson noc. I really, really want this dragon. I've never paid that much for a dragon before, but every time someone else bids I keep bidding again. I've already got a name for her (Rohan) and gene plans and I really want her.

Now I've bid 1400 because someone just bid two nature sprites and I couldn't help it. I really want her.
