Look it's long so I'm not going to read it, you've obviously got your issues and history together etcetera.

Keep your personal fights to private messages. Send a DW message. Send an email. Send a whatever other account message. Send a snail mail. You're not even trying to keep this private.

There's usual drama and then there's this toxic borderline crazy thing going on between the two of you. Mostly you at this point.

Honestly I think having a forced break from shitstream will do you good.

Please don't post it tomorrow because the majority of us do not actually care and don't like figuratively walking down the street to our local coffee shop only to have a bunch of nutjobs in a failed relationship screaming at each other.

As a random stranger, this explains quite a lot. Not all of us anons here are streamers or part of that friendsgroup, I think there were a lot of us anons with no ties to the stream were catching that anger and hostility because you assumed we were against you when we weren't. I bet a lot of us would be willing to listen or talk if you wanted to.

I did notice that there was lots of sniping back and forth.

I did notice too that all the hostile responses above p. obviously sound like they know waaay more about this than I do as an uninvolved person, so I'm going to bet they're from said streams.

Good luck and travels with you. I don't care that this is drama, and this is enough of a long running and informal community with enough people who've known each other for a long time, for me to think interpersonal stuff is okay sometimes especially if you don't have many other options for communicating.

Not a shitstream user and I mostly lurk on FS but you've always seemed pretty okay to me? I'm sorry this happened and glad you're dealing it even if it took a while... which is perfectly normal. I hope Noodles lets you back into shitstream and frankly, I think you're pretty generous to still want to be friends. I don't think I could be friends with an ex under those circumstances.

I don't know whether or not Noodle has chosen to ban you from an entire community based on what you stated in a completely different community, but I do think the amount of personal details in your posts is the kind of thing that should stay private. Unless it's directly connected to a public issue that affects a lot of people, airing dirty laundry is not cool. I'm sorry to hear that some bad things happened in your relationship, but it isn't anyone's business but yours (and certainly not the business of any stupid people who assume they know why your relationship ended).

I will say this though--it sounds as though you have about as much respect for him as he does for you. And by that I mean... little to none. You can say how much you miss a person and that you still want them as a friend, but judging from that post, your actions say otherwise. Maybe you didn't mean any harm with your essay, but it doesn't exactly put you in a good light either.

And JMO, if your friends were any friends at all, they would at least attempt to contact you outside of this Shitstream community instead of letting it be the only door to them. Similarly, claiming F!S is your own communication option is a cop-out.

I for one think it's well past time that people knew about this, but you were already well aware of all of my thoughts on this situation, Chard.

I guess I'll also take this situation to say I'm glad you clarified your position and your intentions because I'm generally not sure how many of your jabs are actually bitter or malicious and how many are just your personality these days.

On the one hand I don't think you should be forced to change your behaviour to bend over backward for someone who did some undoubtedly shitty things to you. On the other hand the stream isn't really public space so being respectful to some degree is kind of a requisite for being there.

I also would like to add that I generally like having you in stream because a lot of the time you bring the comedy genius but it has gotten awkward more than a few times. If you read this noodles, I hope you take this as my vote to bring Chard back in eventually. Maybe after a cooling off period?

I don't know. I don't have much more to say on this because I still don't really know both sides of the story. I sympathize, though. I maintain that you deserve something way healthier than what you had previously and I hope that lands in your lap soon.

Basically:

Noodle cheated on me. Loads, over the entire relationship. And lied to the women he cheated on me with which I found out after some digging. Basically it was really ugly and I felt massively betrayed. Imagine someone who'd heard every single one of your anxieties deliberately confirming them. It was that. But I dated him for a reason and I still showed up to shitstream because I like the people there. It's pretty important to me. But because I was a hurt fallible human I was sometimes obviously angry, and this bugged him.

Tonight, based on a comment about shitstream I thought was innocuous, he banned me. This is actually kind of awful as I have friends I can only really talk to there, and I wasn't given the option to apologize to them. He thinks it's my hostility over the breakup. While I admit there was some--a lot, and justified--it's been a year and a half since, my life's improved dramatically, and what he's reading as recent hostility is me being my normal sarcastic self. I'm not going to treat an ex differently, and I really don't like the ex who hurt me now blocking me from my friends because he's worried. I want to be let in, with a promise that I'll be more careful.

This sucks, dudes. I'd also like to apologize to anyone from Shitstream who sees this and thinks I really did mean to insult them. I'm sorry and should have picked different words. I adore you bastards.

Considering how all summer, most of your posts have been "subtle" attacks on Noodles, and you keep bringing it up, and throwing things that should be personal up publicly on this forum... I mean, I wouldn't want you in my private stream either. Why should Noodles have not banned you?

Hi I've been following this com off and on for a while and though I don't really know you and probably don't have a right to say anything about other people's personal lives, but I hope that you can find a way to get through bad things in your relationship and just enjoy the things that make you happy. I know that sounds pretty sappy, but it makes me a little sad seeing that you are unhappy with this seemingly ongoing situation. I hope things get better for you.
