I'm not squicked, I'm weirded out by these people. I cannot possibly comprehend what goes on in your head if you think furries are 'hot'. Also, it seems to be inextricably linked to babyfurs, and all sorts of other weird kinks. Putting peanutbutter on your sexual organs when you have a dog so said dog will do... things =/= normal, okay.

I know not all furries take it that far, but knowing some do makes me scared of meeting one in person.

I don't think I'd know what to say if someone ever admitted to me they were a real life furry, which is why I am terrified of talking to one of them. I won't be able to take them seriously, because honestly, dressing in animal costumes =/= sexy.

I've met furries in real life. I actually dated one for awhile(I didn't know she was a furry at the time). They're all pretty normal, except for the furry thing. You gotta know, though, not all furries dress in animal costumes.

11. My roommate's really into this series, but I don't see the appeal. The prose is all sorts of purple, the characters are shallow amd underdeveloped, and the fandom is totally batshit (at least from what I've seen here in fandomsecrets). So...yeah. Totally agreed.
