Oh, boy, I hope I'm not going to need a tissue for this. Firstly, a handful of overzealous fans doesn't make all fans of the pairing into retards. Secondly, yes, I ship it myself, but I don't consider the pairing canon. Just to show that not all the fans should be painted with the same brush. =/

To be honest, though, I don't see what's wrong with shipping a non-canon couple and admitting it's not canon. Shouldn't the fact that a fan enjoys the pairing they ship be all the justification they need, instead of making themselves and the ship look worse by making it out to be something it's not?

Eh, I more or less agree with this. Most people who take the pairing as 'canon' see it as Tieria having feelings for Lockon, rather than an actual relationship between the two. You could read into how Tieria feels in a number of different ways if you so wished, but Lockon's simply a nice guy who'd help anyone out in a crisis. But clearly, nothing actually happened between the two, and to be honest, I haven't seen anyone claim that myself, but anyway.

I just hope all this isn't going to start a load of wank in the fandom, I personally enjoy their dynamic as it is and I'd rather not be considered a social retard for doing so.

Agreed. I adore that pairing beyond words, but yes, Tieria is a "social retard." No part of me believes that Tieria would ever, by his own will, be intimate with anyone... not Lockon, not Allelujah, not anyone. And even if Tieria has some sort of feelings towards Lockon, he probably doesn't even understand these feelings or what they even mean!

What's wrong with that? I mean, cribbing the stuff from the other fics isn't good, f you're actually c&ping scenes and replacing names, but if you're just using the ideas/positions, that's fine. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it.

Umm.. well, Sylar's mother was clearly a Christian. I'm guessing Catholic, because of the whole "Forgive me father for I have sinned" thing, but I think that the secret-maker was referring to Quinto. He's half-Jewish, if I'm not mistaken.
