Trump got some heat for his comments about the Manchester attack, calling the terrorist "evil losers" but....it fits. It's juvenile for the leader of a nation, I get it. But it sums them up.

I don't think so. Because it minimizes the threat. It makes them out to be just silly, not something dangerous that is killing and hurting people.

Yeah, I kind of agree. They WANT to be seen as awful and frightening, so calling them "losers" denies them that.

I'd rather be cold than hot. That seems unpopular. The 90 degree weather here right now is making me miserable.

I prefer Moffat to RTD. That seems controversial here. I also prefer 11 and 12 to 10 and 9. My order would be 11, 12, 9, 10.

I don't think Loki is the MCU'S most interesting villain. I found Ronan more interesting (though getting more would be nice). And I love Thanos. And there are others I'd place before Loki too. I actually find him a bit dull.

I prefer Star Trek Voyager to Next Generation. DS9 is the best, but VOY is second. And Janeway is my favorite captain and I don't get the criticism and hate of her at all.

I prefer cold weather but I hate being cold.

I didn't find Ronan interesting at all. I honestly don't even remember why he was doing what he was doing (and I watched the movie very recently).

My favorite villain is definitely Zemo.

Vaguely related, Chris Evans's default photo for google is fantastic. Sebastian Stan....not so much. :|

Being cold is much better then being hot. I always tell people that when it's cold you can always put on more clothing but there's only so much you can do when it's unbearably hot. Plus it makes me sleepy and it becomes hard to work, last summer I was working in a place without air conditioning and it was pretty miserable (to make it worse we were working over computers and the monitors got hot as hell.)

Plus I hate sweating and my hair is less frizzy in the dry cold.

I a million times prefer cold over hot. I hate, hate, hate the feeling of being sweaty and oily. I get light-headed and dizzy in humidity, I feel gross, I look gross, just no. Give me ten below any day before 90.

I'm with you. Winter's my favorite season, fall's second. I hate it when the temperature gets to 90 or above. Heck, even upper 80s is a bit much for me.

Same. My house has useless AC that might as well be dusty air for all the good it does. I live in an area where temps can hit 90 to 100+ Fahrenheit and then doesn't cool off well at night. Summer is a total bitch. ESPECIALLY when I have to go in someplace with AC and come back out knowing my house will be hotter than it is outside.

You could rip the roof off my house and somehow it will still be hot at night in the summer. I survive on fans and lots of cold drinks, but I look gross until fall because of constant sweat.

I'd rather be cold than hot too. Though I've found a way to deal with both. I'm good at playing mind tricks with myself that make it not seem as bad as it is.

And I also don't share the fascination with Loki. Especially in The Avengers, he just seemed so generic to me.

I love VOY more than TNG too. TNG is better written, yet somehow VOY is always just more engaging and interesting a show to me.

I prefer Voyager too. I can't really make good arguments for it since I've never watched neither TNG nor Voy completely, but I just like the crew better.

This sounds like something from a DARE class, but drinking alcohol/smoking weed/something cigarettes/vaping doesn't make you cool.

There is this trend on tumblr where posts have 50-500k+ notes about needing alcohol to live and that weed's not addictive. Like oh, you're so ~*~edgy~*~ and ~*~grown up~*~ for doing those things. People wear it like a badge of honor.

I'm okay with Qui-gon not going back to free Shmi, and I don't think freeing her would've solved Anakin's issues.

I'm glad Leia didn't become a Jedi. I don't think the Jedi were the worst though.

I'm so glad they finally killed off Maul, and I was sick of seeing him on Rebels. I thought they did a good job with Thrawn.

I'm happy the EU had been thrown out.

I prefer rain to sunshine.

I'm pretty introverted, but I get bored if I have to stay in the house for too long. I like going outside... just not to wild parties/clubs/whatever people assume you're doing if you're not staying home (in your free time).

I prefer having some clutter in my home to the very minimalist, clean, no extra stuff thing that everyone is promoting these days. I don't mean I want to live in a house overflowing with junk, but I like knickknacks and things that I've saved from my childhood and don't see any need to get rid of them.

I get so sick of the ship wars. I prefer Whouffaldi(DoctorxClara) and I can enjoy Yowza (DoctorxRiver), but there are people who act like you're cheating on an IRL spouse if you dip into both pairings.

I guess the controversy is IT'S OKAY TO MULTISHIP CHARACTERS AND SENDING DEATH THREATS ON ANON (TUMBLR) OVER FICTIONAL CHARACTER PAIRINGS IS THE MOST PATHETIC THING EVER. FFS GROW UP!

I loved Firefly, but going by the stuff Joss did to BtVS and AtS, I'm glad it got cancelled. And that's not even counting the things they apparently had planned (which wouldn't have necessarily happened anyway, I doubt every plan does).

It bothers me a bit when certain portions of anti-J/7ers go on about how unhealthy a romance between them would automatically be, how it's like child-grooming and how Seven couldn't possibly give meaningful consent...and then turn around and gush about how great Doc/7 is, even though you could make the exact same arguments about that pairing. I just think it's a little hypocritical. I'm not saying J/7 is flawless or that they wouldn't have their issues that they'd have to carefully and slowly negotiate ('cause lets face it, both of these women are made of Issues to begin with), but to pretend that a relationship between the EMH and Seven wouldn't face a lot of the same problems and obstacles doesn't really sit right with me.

I'm bisexual.

I think a lot of the whining about "biphobia!!!" as an actual form of oppression is absolute bullshit. Yes, people can be assholes to bi people (on either side of the gay/straight divide), but that's not oppression. You are not denied housing/medical/jobs/etc. for being bisexual-- unless you're in a same-sex relationship. What you are experiencing then is homophobia. Yes, if you're in an opposite-sex relationship, people will assume you're straight, and that's a dick move, but it is not oppression.
