I'm not the OP of either of those secrets, but don't you think you're being slightly...abrasive? I think the main point of 173 was that the secret poster valued their friendship, but did not like the romantic aspect. In the VIII fandom, there seems to be two sides to the argument: those that love the romantic relationship and those that hate it. I think what the OP meant was that she loved the relationship between the two, just not the romantic part, which alienates her from the fandom, considering the majority of those that hate the relationship either hate the game or hate Rinoa and/or Squall.

168: People keeps saying ALIENS! because the ALIENS! are the problem! Yes, the other films have silly premices as well, but sci fi is a hugely different vibe from mythology and it just doesn't sit well with the previous trilogy. Plus the plot doesn't make sense within itself. (It's not obliged to make sense within reality, but it should be coherent in its own universe.)

101. Oh my goodness! I do the exact same thing! Although admittedly 98% of the time I use original characters these days, but nonetheless, so glad I'm not the only one! :D I love casting OCs as characters in books: it's like directing my own mental movie, if you will. So much fun seeing who works in what roles and such, and I've noticed some have even been typecast and a few suffer from "curses" (such as always winding up dead/near death if they aren't the protaganist).

I haven't used many fandom characters as major players in quite a while, though, with the exception of one of my favourite characters in a much-loved book series, who will always look like Phoenix Wright in my head, ha ha ha XD;

Sorry for rambling, Secret Poster, but aah, it's so cool to know I'm not the only one! ♥

You know, I used to aaaaalways play as Yoshi back in the day, 'till my bro decided he absolutely must be Yoshi and threw a fit unless I relented, and since then I've hardly played as Yoshi at all. 125 - One of my all time favorites. Because of that movie, I learned to seek adventure in my life. You don't have to go on an epic quest, you can find it within bike riding distance if you just look.

Oh, Endrance I relate to him deeply as well, so I find his strengths genuinely inspiring, and his weaknesses a mark of how I've progressed in life, past the point when they were my weaknesses too. He's an amazing character. The idea of him not finding happiness breaks my heart in so many different ways.

I'm glad my secret made you so happy :D ♥ I agree, he's a much deeper character than the fandom tends to give him credit for.
