I like high body counts, I just wish more media would actually make it clear that those lives matter. I love Star Wars, but I will forever be bugged about that scene in ANH where Leia, who watched her own planet be destroyed, comforts Luke about the death of someone he barely knows.

Jennifer Connelly would've been really good. I love Winona, but I see her more as Galadriel or Eowyn (wigged obvi) than Arwen. There's a sort of "soft power" to Arwen in comparison to others, and I feel like Winona's has too much of an assertive stage (or film in this case) presence that makes it hard for me to see her in such an ethereal role.

No one's problem with him is that he broke Marvel's rules. It's that he did it in a really fucked-up, dumb way. I don't think your take is a good one.

I'd have to rewatch the episodes to be sure, but that's not how it came across to me. I more got the sense that Perez treated it as being unambiguously morally wrong but less consequential than catching the actual murderer. And I'm kind of not sure what else he was supposed to really do in the situation.
