Saving fanfic

Do you save fic to your hard rive? What's your criteria for what gets saved and what doesn't?

I save them to my google docs.

In retrospect I *should* see if some are still up on old wikias and save them.

If it's good enough for me to read it until the end, it gets saved. I usually save as .txt, and will download longfic off AO3 for my e-reader.

I save it if it left me feeling a certain way I want to experience again. Happy, if it's fluffy. Or maybe it ties up something in canon that was never explained or finished in a satisfying way. Or if a novel length fic kept my interest the whole way through.

Yes. I have about 1100 fics saved. If they are good enough for me to bookmark and are not just short one shots, they get saved.

Nope. Occasionally I'll bookmark something on AO3 but I don't know if I've ever gone back and reread them.

Most fic isn't memorable enough to me to keep.

I just started watching Legacies and to be honest... I was hesitant because it seemed dumb and a bit juvenile, but I am actually really enjoying it. Though I am not going to lie that I am getting this hella UST vibe from Hope and Alaric, which is ten shades of wrong when she's (apparently?) the same age as his daughters...

Does anyone know a good cheap package deal for internet and unlimited (or just more than 5 GB/mo.) phone data that doesn’t include a landline or cable/any tv service?

I rarely text and don’t spend much time actually talking on my phone. I’m in the US and am currently on an ancient (literally inherited) plan paying $250+/mo. for a landline that gets nothing but scam/spam calls, cable I never use, 3GB/mo. phone data with $10 per G over, $0.20 per text, and something like 450 rollover minutes per month that I’ve only ever exceeded while stuck on hold trying to pay bills or deal with hospitals. I’m fine with my home internet, but it’s $90/month because it’s bundled with the useless landline and (I last watched tv 2 years ago) cable.

Ages ago (I mean literally ages, I believe my niece was 2 or 3 at the time? and she's almost 19 now) we were renting a cottage for a week and my brother and I took the boat out fishing (which for us is just putting the lines in the water and then napping at opposite ends of the boat), and it started to rain.

The tacklebox was sitting open on the middle seat between us, and I sat up, slammed it shut and exclaimed, "Quick, before the lures get wet!"

It was not my brightest moment, but it was funny as fuck.

Steam Help

I want to play the game in secret 2 but ive been a MAC user for so long that I haven't even tried computer gaming in ages. But I recently got a PC laptop with (I think) Windows 7, maybe later.

How do I access steam? Just on a web browser tab or is it an application I need to get somehow? And is Windows 7 too out of date to run steam or the game?
