Kind of a waste. I did some laundry. I should've dusted the bookcase but we have a blast of warm air here and I'm enjoying it because I've been inhaling cool air for too long and I have been sick, so I took time to inhale its warmth and relax. How was yours?

Bleh. 2 hours Sleep and no coffee. I have a splitting sinus/tension headache and I'm still hormonal.

Today sucked rancid syphilitic donkey balls. I missed my bus to work and my trolley home, one of my pets hasn’t eaten enough for days now, we were super short handed at work, and me, my coworker, and the person we pulled from another location to fill in did the equivalent of juggling flaming monkey shit all day with only three rather than the usual six of us to extinguish the worst of the turd infernos.

Worked all day. Coworkers goofed off and we didn't make quota. But in off until Saturday and went out to dinner with my husband, and the Warriors won the western championship woo!

Getting Your Teeth Pulled

I'm going to the dentist tomorrow, and might get my wisdom teeth pulled. My mouth is too small for them to come in properly, and it hurts like a bitch to eat... I'm a little nervous since I'm seeing a new dentist, after having bad experiences with that dentist in the past;;

How many of you still have your extra teeth, or have had teeth pulled in the past? What are good things to do and eat afterwards?

If this a general comment and not related to something specifically going on in your life, you might want to make a list of all the things you feel like you should have done before now and then tomorrow after a good night's sleep, start working towards accomplishing all of the things you wrote down. I wrote a list last year and have checked off a surprising amount from it.

There's still time. You got this.

I've felt this way a lot, and sometimes still do.

But... I think you just have to keep pressing forward until you find something new that's worthwhile, or even possibly rediscover something you previously found worthwhile. Life doesn't have to stop here.

I know, without specifics, I can blow things out of my ass all day. But I hope you find some peace, and that a new (or renewed) perspective leads you out of whatever stuck place you find yourself in.

I so, so feel you, anon. I mean, I'm only 31, so I know it's not as dramatic as all that. But I spent most of my 20's doing absolutely nothing, my mental health is rough, I have no qualifications, I'm ace/aro but I'm lonely, and there's no way I'll be able to have a kid since I don't have the mental or financial resources to support one.

I've been holding down a part time job for a few years now, and I've been going to the gym for about a year and a half, so those are two things I'm hanging onto. But I can barely even handle that much; it's hard to imagine taking on more.

I sometimes fantasize about being able to go back to when I was seven or eight and live the next couple of decades over again - do a little better this time. It's a pointless fantasy that accomplishes nothing, but man it'd be great.

I'm sorry you maybe feel this way too, anon. You're not alone, though.
