Idk about Mulaney but as far as Pink goes, IIRC she denied being bisexual because she doesn't like labels and did not/does not specifically identify as bisexual, and has said, quote, "never say never." So that's her identity or lack thereof in her own words

Reminds me of a scene I saw from Love, Victor (haven't watched the show) in which one character gave the other character a drawing for their birthday... (of themselves I think?) and it was... not good? Idk if that character is supposed to be a good artist or not but I went ??? (I guess in that instance, it was the gesture that counted)

I don't like incest.

So I don't read fic containing it.

I don't get people who see it as a huge moral crusade.

Okay, strike that. I know people whose abusers groomed them with incest fic. So I see why they don't want that to be a thing that happens in the world. What I don't get is why they think the problem is "incest fic exists" and not "abusive people think their abusive shit is okay to do and/or that they'll get away with it".

Abusers will use anything to groom their victims. Getting rid of incest fic won't solve this problem.

... And also, some people see "incest fic exists" as a moral wrong in and of itself, entirely separate from any actual material consequences. Which is a thing I completely don't get.

(Replace "incest fic" with "adult/child shipping fic" or pretty much any other "problematic" fandom trope, and the post remains true top to bottom.)

I get that many people on the Internet say stupid things about this topic, but it still seems really reductive to imply that any concern or analysis of the moral dimension of a work is the equivalent of reinstating the Hayes Code

...weirdly, I'm the opposite of this. I've watched Handsome Siblings but never The Untamed, but I do sometimes read The Untamed fanfic bc there's just so much of it, and I always just vaguely picture the actors from Handsome Siblings lols.
but the dynamics are similar tho!
(I'll agree that Wang Yibo might have been a better Hua Wuque bc frankly I just didn't like the Hua Wuque of the actual show that much.)
