That's a bit... extreme. I love AxI and is the fandom darling in Japan (that and PxS). I ship it ♥ now, but I didn't always. I knew it was going to happen since volume 1, chapter 2, duh (also I knew and LOVED PxS since they met, they were also obvious), Dracula has a female van Helsing around in a spin off! WHAT COULD THIS RELATIONSHIP TURN UP TO. Pff. C'mon. Obvious couple is obvious for anyone who knows Dracula spin offs formula.

But I couldn't STAND Alucard until... volume 8, so I only fully ship it when he proved to have more layers to deserve Integra.

It's just not everyone's cup of tea. Lucky for us, it ended up to be Hirano's. :P

144. Well, I can see people liking the show for the supernatural elements and the great soundtrack and crazy plot and just not being that much into shipping. Actively denouncing people who support depicting violent oppression (that has, in real life, amassed a death toll and torn families apart) is too "PC?" Wow. Grow some maturity. And this is coming from someone who thinks the Producers is hilarious.

160. Aha, this is why I find Twilight fans unintentionally hilarious. One reason I intensely loathe the Twilight books is the complete lack of grammatical coherency and the extremely poor writing style. This secret contains at least two grammatical errors. Oh, self-perpetuating grammar ignorance, why must you plague me so? (Although, in all honesty, I think liking a series because it brought you closer to someone is not a bad thing, even if it is... Twilight.)

obviously i can only base my opinion on my own experience, but i met him at a convention back when xena was still in its heyday and he was AMAZING. he answered everyone's questions, posed for pictures, signed multiple items even though he wasn't technically supposed to....he almost missed his flight back to new zealand because he didnt want to disappoint the people that were still waiting at the back of the line. they kept urging him that he needed to leave or he wasn't going to be back in time, but he kept brushing them off saying 'yeah yeah, just like five more people then i'll go'. so to see reports of him being an asshole honestly surprise me.

144 - lol, I don't even watch/read Hellsing but I still find this secret particularly unnerving. I'm sick of the "fandom equals shipping" mentality - I mean, I ship too, but if I look at my favorite fandoms, shipping never came first; I got captivated for the overall impression I got from canon. Shipping is not necessary to appreciate anything. It's the icing, not the cake.
