102. I think most, if not all, writers do that. How can anyone become detached enough to eliminate their whole self from their writing? This reminds me of a quote I read in Chicken Soup for the Writer’s Soul: “It doesn’t matter what you write, what you believe will show through.”

If you hated that, try looking up the Tsubasa anime. I mean, the Tsubasa manga was bad enough for it, especially in some shots, but in the anime most of the time Fay literally looked like he was made out of noodles and was ten feet tall. The only other person I know who has any interest in that show is my roommate, and while she's great and everything, we don't really hang out much - and on top of that she's only really a casual watcher. She couldn't care less about ships, and if she does, I can promise you she doesn't ship slash. XD So I go on here and complain to you fine people. That's what it's here for, right? XD

102. Everyone does that, no worries. And most writers make it so that characters have relateable qualities to everyone, so that everyone sees a bit of themselves in each character. So as long as you're not completely altering their personalities, you've got nothing to worry about. You're doing it right, even.

104. I find that song to be pretentious and alltogether rude to the whole of humanity. I'm not judging you for liking it, I'm just validating my reason why I don't. It has nothing to do with the song's popularity (what a lame excuse that is). To me, he's saying: "PEOPLE ARE SHEEP. PEOPLE ARE SHEEP. PEOPLE ARE SHEEP," and while I'd agree that there are a lot of people out there who can be, I find the blanket generalization rather insulting.

128. I know it's a weeaboo term, but I call him "Raito" because I find the name "Light," when tacked next to any last name (IE: "Yagami Light/Light Yagami") makes it sound like a diet soda. Personally, I find the name stupid. Like something celebrities come up with, along with "Moon Unit" and "Pilot Inspektor."

So basically, you don't call the character by his name, the name that the creator of the story gave him, and went to great pains to stress the pronunciation of, because you think it's stupid? (I did lol at the diet soda thing though)

Also, and I have to add this because I can't resist, Moon Unit is a great name. I don't know who the hell Pilot Inspektor is, but Frank Zappa can name his kids whatever he wants and they'll still be awesome because they're Frank Zappa's kids.

155. I completely agree. Does that make me a terrible person? It's not like I hate larger women in fiction or something, but the idea that only large women are "real women" hacks me off. Especially when I found these shirts on eBay that were plus-size-only and the description said something along the lines of "Beautiful clothes for real women!" Great, so...because I'm thin (and it's not just genetics/metabolism, I eat well and exercise, but it's to keep healthy, not skinny), that automatically means I'm a fake woman? Thanks.

It wasn't until I saw the Flobots in concert that I truly found what the songs and the group are all about. They are truly inspirational and I felt so empowered when I left their show. I didn't expect that at all considering how mainstream they are.

Everyone needs to check out their song IRAQ, or at least read the lyrics.
