We’re a household of shift workers and I was away this week camping. I had no idea it was Saturday until 5pm. It’s going to be a very long week.

I went to a farm festival and got a pick your own flowers bouquet.

My mom and my brother made eggplant parmigiana tonight for dinner. Yum.

This week I spent fine tuning my etsy shop after i hired someone on fiverr to help me make it look MUCH prettier

And now I'm just sorta ... vibing waiting for a thing I made to go through KDP review

deep in depression mood since a couple of weeks ago, slowly getting better. I've been re-watching some supernatural episodes and I'm kind of having fun. Even after the disastrous finale (15x20 who?) it's still one of my comfort shows.
I'm on season 13 and Jack is so adorable.

This seems pretty common, but...they aren't really connected. Different genres, different premises, different companies, dissimilar universes, not particularly similar art styles. And yet...

Ranma and Sailor Moon... For the longest time I actually thought they did share a universe because of all the fandom crossover.

Basically many of those old USA shows live in the same shared universe in my mind. But I guess those are not exactly unrelated.

The Ace Attorney/Phoenix Wright universe and Tiger&Bunny. Might be because of the kinda whacky characters/character designs but I could easily see these two fandoms sharing a universe.

Harley Quinn and the show Ginny & Georgia.

At one point, my mind went "what if Mary/Georgia killed herself after she had to marry that first dude and a Harley on the run, invoi by accident and channeling the shrug emoji, took over the Georgia identity and raised Ginny herself, and no one Mary's life gave enough of a shit to notice".
It would explain Georgia's cavalier attitude to murder and crime in general.

X-Files, Buffy and Supernatural.
I wrote fics where X-Files is like a prequel to SPN (time wise) and some case where the Winchesters and Mulder&Scully end up in Sunnydale.
All these three are my favourite TV shows and they are kind of linked with the supernatural theme, ok? I'm very basic lol.

... but you wouldn't mind if someone else made them for you! As always, including the fandom and full character names is a big help, and while I'm definitely not the world's greatest expert at secret design, I'll try my best. Please note that secrets with lots of text are sometimes difficult to accommodate and I'll give it a shot but might not be able to make secrets where the text is so lengthy that I can't fit it into the limited space.

I'll monitor this thread until tomorrow's secret post goes up, so feel free to leave your comments until then!

Weird culture trends that you don't get.

(I'm American, for context.) I know the whole wedding industry has always been kind of nuts, but the general trend seems to be getting worse. I read that the average U.S. wedding cost around 29K in 2023. That's crazy! How many people can truly afford that? It's insane to go into debt for a one-day party, no matter what the occasion is.

The sense of control and entitlement seems to be getting worse, too. Like traditionally, I know the bride and groom chooses wedding colors for the bridal party. But what's up with telling your GUESTS that you want them to wear a specific color or fit with a specific color palette? I can't imagine trying to orchestrate that many peoples' wardrobes, just for the sake of having a matchy-matchy color scheme for my wedding photographs.

Destination weddings are a whole other thing, too. By all means, have them if the location is more important to you than having your friends and family there on your wedding day. But the number of people who choose a destination wedding and then act all surprised and upset when it turns out that not everyone can afford to fly out and stay at a resort because of work and life obligations, or, you know, not wanting to drop several thousand bucks for your wedding, plus gift.

That doesn't make any sense.

If something is neutral, that means that it's neither good nor bad. If something points toward a person being either good or bad, then that means that it's not neutral. In other words, you cannot have something simultaneously be neutral and also a red flag.
