Sometimes I get sucked into threads because they can be pretty entertaining, but on the whole that sub is like the popculture version of r/conservatives. Just full of crazy delusional people living in their own little world. And often full of hate.

Is fauxmoi related to fandom_wank? Mina de Malfois?

I've never been to fauxmoi and am frankly not sure what it is, but it is the height of hilarity to me how pressed swifties are that the guy who didn't marry their queen seems to be unbothered while TS herself can't stop making digs at him and her other exes and rewriting the narrative of their relationships despite being ostensibly engaged to the love of her life

I love my parents SO MUCH. I really do. But the main bathroom shares a wall with my bedroom. The faucet in the tub drips badly, constantly. So they put this bucket in there to collect the water, and then use it to flush the toilet in their bathroom.

Which is fine. But the shower/tub combo is on the wall right next to my bed, and when the bucket is full and heavy, the sound of it sliding across the plastic tub floor is super loud and wakes me up.

I have asked them repeatedly to pleeeeeaaaaaase don't do that when I'm sleeping, because I don't get back to sleep quickly or easily when I am woken up. But it keeps happening.

Yesterday I woke up with a severe headache that didn't go away until I finally broke down and took a migraine tablet. It wiped out the headache but left me tired, so I went to bed early. I had JUST drifted off when my dad wrestled the fucking bucket out of there and woke me up. Literally my watch showed I had been asleep for 5 minutes when that happened. And when I get woken up immediately after/as I am drifting off, it takes forever to get back to sleep, and sure enough. It took an hour and a half to get to sleep after that. It is so frustrating!

I am on my period and my nether regions feel, like, raw. It always gets like that for a day or two, I hate it sooo much.

Venting - warm winter

I live somewhere with mild winters. We almost never have heavy snow or ice, most years we'll get a dusting once or twice, and although it frequently gets below freezing, we don't have the really nasty sustained bad weather. So winters just (usually) aren't that bad here.

This winter has been so warm, and I honestly hate it. I'm hot-natured, and it feels like I can't really relax until November, because it's hot all the time from April/May all the way into October most years. And this year, it cools off some and then warms right back up. I had the air conditioner on, on Christmas. We're at mid-January now, and there hasn't been any real, true cold. I think it just isn't going to happen this winter, and I'm really sad about it.

I'm also afraid that the summer is going to fry us to death.

The cat I spent the past six months fostering is getting returned to me AGAIN (already got returned last year by a potential adopter; was cleared to move into a cat café earlier this week) and the email about it made me burst into tears out of stress; I cannot take this cat back. He's perfectly sweet to me and my roommate, but her cat hates him and he's chewed through an annoying amount of my stuff.

Anyone else stuck in a doom loop?

I managed to stay offline most of the day but I came to check FS and a few other places and have found myself in a doomscroll loop about Minnesota (and the world in general) and my heartrate is going crazy and I am so upset and I hate that I get stuck and do this to myself.

Gonna force myself to sign off in a minute. Just needed to vent because I am just so full of emotions right now and had nowhere for them to go.

I have this rash on my face and IT IS NOT GOING AWAY! I had it over the holidays, from anxiety and stress, but it was only on the edge of my hair and down to my chin. It went away in a few days. But now it's covering half my fucking face, I've been stressed this week, but nothing too bad. It can't be from that and I don't know what to do. My family doc is gone for another two weeks, and ugh! This sucks!

Vent #2!
I have this weird urge to vomit pretty much all the time. Meaning I can just be walking down the hallway, fucking breath wrong somehow, and I'm doubled over gagging. I smell something, even if its not even a bad smell, and it's the same. It's concerning and freaking me out. It's been going on for a while and seems to have idk, maybe gotten worse but I hate it. Taking my meds are the worst along with brushing my teeth, anything that I don't chew that goes in my mouth will sometimes actually make me throwup a bit. I even seem my meds in the mess (as I can usually only just make it to the sink sometimes even) and I'm going throught them way faster than I should, but will just skip days to get back on track because I'm also an idiot. It's so embarrassing too, I don't go out much, so it's rare it happens in public, but I used to have a gag reflex of steel. Or rather I could swallow those dry, chalky, enormous, horse pills disguised as vitamins, without water and with no trouble at all. WHAT HAPPENED ME?! Why are you doing this to me body?! Even just writing this is making me take calming breaths because I have to think about it!

Sorry for the long rants, I don't really expect any replies, but omg I needed to get this off my chest.

Rather meh. Low energy, having been iron deficient these last few days. Having beef tonight.

Also, weekends seem so short after the holidays, haha.

What the heck happend to Xena?

I am just watching an ep of Xena that is on the tv amd Xena is an angel and they are talking about her taking on the sins to save people. Did Xena become a Christian show in the later seasons?

I watched this as a kid and remember a lot of greek myth stuff but I guess I never saw the later eps.

I'm too afraid to ask this on Tumblr, but I want to gauge what they would think. I was thinking of reprising my cosplay from ten years ago (updated for my current weight) of Ebony Dark'ness Dementia Raven Way, but would that be bad given what My Immortal is based on? Or is it far enough removed from that stuff to be okay?
