I thought his hosting was surprisingly good (though I did think the opening was too long). And I know it's bizarre, but I feel like he had a weird little aura of classiness to him.

He's always hit or miss for me but honestly being a feminist and believing in equality has nothing to do with your sense of humor, I get kind of tired of people thinking that ALL feminists have to consume media in the same way and "Omg someone said something offensive!" so now we all have to come together and hate this person. I'm not a hive mind because I believe in equality.

Even in just hollywood he's far from the worst, his animated shows can be crap but they can also be really really funny (I still like american dad for whatever reason.)

I didn't think anything of him. The jokes were in poor taste and didn't even have the decency to be funny in the first place.

The Boob song was annoying and I don't get how that was supposed to be funny.. But what I found really offensive were the domestic violence jokes. And the jokes about George Clooney having sex with that girl from Beasts of the Southern Wild. Jokes about domestic violence and child abuse are not funny. Ever.

I thought the first three minutes or so were pretty funny, but then I just got annoyed. I'm sick of this one-trick pony. Like wow, look! Seth MacFarlane making offensive jokes--how shocking and inappropriate! ...It's gotten old. That's why I'm a South Park fan; it's "offensive" but with some variety.

I thought the John Wilkes Booth secret was freakin' hilarious and if everything had been in that vein (a little nerdy, a little/lot mocking of Serious Actor Bullshit, etc) then I would've enjoyed the show a lot more.

But like, if you want to be a provocative jackass, then do it and don't try to couch it with "oooooh, you guys are going to be SO MAD about this joke, JUST WAIT!" like a naughty kid trying to get a rise out of the adults.

His hosting job for the Oscars, *was* hilarious. That is all. SN: He's the creator of "Family Guy" for sobbing out loud. Everyone who tuned in to watch, knew *exactly* what kind of humor they were in for.

I really liked his turn at host. I even found "We Saw Your Boobs" to be pretty funny, but I think if it hadn't been framed around "This is why tomorrow's paper will say you're the worst Oscar host EVAR" I might not have felt that way.

I can't believe nobody is mentioning that Seth McFarlane didn't write his own script. It was the same team of writers that's been scripting the oscars for a decade.
