A similar change in listening habits happens to me too, but I have really bad seasonal affective disorder.

Changing the kind of music you listen to due to environment or mood can't be that weird, though.

I think stat growths really ruined both Micaiah and Eliwood. She turned out all right for me, but not stellar, not compared to most of the rest of the army. But Eliwood is notoriously bad with his stats. No strengths for forever, etc etc. I was talking a while back about how stat growths probably directly impact how people feel about characters, at least at first. It's easy to like characters like Hector who are fun, have a more "modern" personality/outlook, and, most importantly, are pretty much badass right from the get-go in-game.

I agree with you though--FE only really shines with its characters. I don't know anyone who would play the game for any other reason. But people like to spend time bashing characters. It's so dull. Kind of ruins everyone's fun.

I'd be surprised if most people in the world don't wonder what having different genitalia would feel like.

Well, she's dead now, so if you want to be a fucking asshole about it you can comfort yourself with the knowledge that she suffered the harshest, most permanent consequences for her actions.

Because outranking someone is different than starting something with someone who hero-worships you. If C/C went with that dynamic, I wouldn't read those fics either.

ANON ARE YOU ME

The weather is finally warm around here, and I am definitely noticing this about myself.

ME TOO OMG

i've never understood the issue with stuff like this, and i'm an atheist. i don't see why religious [thing] would offend people who aren't religious.

It was also Walt Disney's favorite song. He said it was the most beautiful song ever written for him, and would always ask the composer to play it on the piano.

Hey, the Mayor of Munchkinland and his advisors did. XD And Aunt Em and Uncle Henry, of course. But they were about it.

OTOH, there were moments when I could easily have mistaken Bert for a rambunctious five-year-old :) But he was grownup enough when it really counted.

Awww, I thought this was a site where people go troll RP on legit RP comms. That would be awesome!

(Anonymous) 2013-05-09 03:26 am (UTC)(link)
That, and the pies with the other three's clothes, was what made it hilarious for me. :D :D :D

(Anonymous) 2013-05-09 05:27 am (UTC)(link)
But Steve/Tony at least have some basis as opposed to Hawkeye/Coulson.

(Anonymous) 2013-05-09 05:29 am (UTC)(link)
Funny, because everytime I see this mentioned it's coming from Coulson/Hawkeye friendship. "B-but I want moar female/male friendship. I'm not in it for the whitecock slashing!!!1!"

(Anonymous) 2013-05-09 05:33 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, you're one of those that ruined SGA fanfiction fandom.

(Anonymous) 2013-05-09 05:35 am (UTC)(link)
I wouldn't compare those two pairings to it. They have canon interaction. They're friends. They would do stuff for each other. C/C doesn't have this except in the minds of their fans.

(Anonymous) 2013-05-09 05:38 am (UTC)(link)
Speaking as a foreigner that saw Oz recently...fuck that stuff is weird. And I got so many rapey and pedophilic vibes from the characters. Horrible. I felt so uncomfortable watching it.

I managed to lose around 4 stone a couple of years ago - but when people started noticing I put all the weight back on - and I was only around halfway to where I wanted to be!

It's not the first time either. I can lose weight up until people notice and then *bam*.

*sigh*

You're not alone. I like dipping in and out and enjoying the stories and the art, but I don't often hang around. Mostly, I want to avoid the wank that happens (or inadvertently start any), but it also gets really hard to follow.

But, as said above, the point of fandom is to enjoy the book/movie/comic/whatever in a fan-based expanded format. If you like the stuff that's produced, then you've got fandom down pat!

1: I totally agree. The cartoon versions were always more silly, to me, and the comics were hit-and-miss. But this one, all-too-brief image was definitely what made me think of him as a Bad Guy.

2: I always tried to pause the movie there so I could get a better look at his "real" face. Thanks!

3: Not long after this movie came out, I saw a guy at work with a Glasgow smile. Live and in person. It wasn't as gnarly as the Joker's, but it was still kind of terrifying. You ever get that feeling where you're suddenly scared stiff and your toes might as well be nailed to the ground, for all he good they'll do you? Yea, now imagine trying to smile and interacting normally without acting awestruck. xP /end story time

(Anonymous) 2013-05-09 09:59 am (UTC)(link)
I can understand the feeling. I mean, I don't care what people ship and some crack ships are fine... but when a crack ship who has no interaction becomes the most popular ship... I get seriously confused.

Like, how the fuck is Bane/Blake the most popular pairing in TDKR? Or Barsad/Bane (I swear I didn't even know that guys name until I entered fandom). Is there some kind of novelization that capitalizes on this, because as far as I remember Bane and Blake never met and Barsad's name wasn't even mentioned in the movies.

Re: This is how I feel about Steve/Tony

(Anonymous) 2013-05-09 10:03 am (UTC)(link)
I'm not even in Avengers or even Marvel fandom and I still get over saturated with Tony/Steve :/

(Anonymous) 2013-05-09 10:41 am (UTC)(link)
I like to see some of that, too, OP! Variety is a good thing in fic.

Kushina icon. ;3;

Oh, yes, posting things anonymously or under a different name makes things quite a bit easier!

Turn "fanfic" and "fanart" into "original fic" and "original art" and that's me.

Except I'm also uncomfortable with sharing my visual stuff. Just less so.
