On a sidenote: does xkit still work and would the new pseudo-xkit fix the reblogging problem? Is it a safe program to download?

Okay, I've been watching the 2013 mickey mouse shorts and they're probably some of the best cartoons I've seen in recent memory, but the Youtube dislikes are way higher than normal and I'm really confused. Are Disney fans just no fun nancies who want Mickey as bland as possible or I am actually the one with bad taste?

We had to get the water main and sewer line at our house replaced. We rent, so we won't be paying for it. But we come home and they TORE UP OUR TEN FOOT APPLE TREE AND JUST THREW IT ON THE GROUND. So it can’t even be replanted or anything. It is just dead. I get that the tree was in the way of the sewer line, but they could have at least told us so we could try to move it to be replanted.

Also, the plumber is really mean and cussed out code enforcement because he did something wrong. And our water pressure is terrible. Hopefully that will be fixed tomorrow.

It's not-bff birthday today. I took your advice and I blocked her phones but I'm still worried that she'll notice the block and contact me some other way. Like she knows my tumblr unfortunately and we have so many mutual friends and I haven't outright told her I don't want to see her anymore because I don't want to give her the opportunity to argue for a chance or go nuts and say cruel things. I unadded on steam and Facebook but she knows my emails and where I live and work :(

I hope she gets the hint and leaves things alone, but just on account of her behaviour with bf... I'm hoping she's not as attached to me as she acts and will go away.

But I'm still stressing caus it's only been 3 months since she last tried to contact me. I ignored it so I'm hoping its a good sign that she hasn't tried to text me since. Maybe that high school catchup made her realise it's time to move on.

I really, really feel you right now, because I'm reading this person's take on the endings to Mass Effect 3 and I'm like, "...how are you not understanding this?"

They think the superior ending is the Destruction ending because "Reapers BAD! Reapers BAD BAD BAD" (so it's okay to wipe out entire other races, kill a significant chunk of the surviving races, and keep the cycle going because one group of beings is bad?). They think the Control ending is bad because the Illusive Man wanted control, and he was presented as being wrong, so "it doesn't make sense" (the Illusive Man is presented as being wrong because it's believed, correctly, that he's blinded both by his ego and indoctrination. Also, part of the point of throwing a narrative curve ball like that is to get you to question the "good" POV). And they think the Synthesis ending is bad because it "turns everyone into a hivemind" and "peace is only possible if everyone is the same" (not only is that an incredibly shallow and simplistic view, but...where the fuck does it say that everyone gets turned into a hivemind? It's like they got confused about what Geth consensus is).

All I can think is, "you're wrong. You don't get it. How do you not get it?"

It's dumb. I'm being dumb.

I used to tumblr when I got inspired by Avengers fandom esp Loki (& comics) but the sheer repetition/deluge of woobie stuff and Hiddleston squeeing just got me over that platform.

Now I just lurk mostly, here, tumblr a bit, forums like CBR and previously.tv, The Mary Sue... Not much of a ficcer.
