61. Oh, this takes me back... long nights playing Secret of Mana and several others you pictured. I have all the new systems and yes, they look pretty and play nice but I do miss my old SNES rpgs as well. The colors were so rich and the music inspired. Yeah, it's cliche but they just don't makem' like they used to.

39: Where have you been? It's what all the fans who think of themselves as "cool" (and the Slytherfen of course) think nowadays. Since DH were released, comms have been overflowing with meta of how inferior the series is, and what a hack Rowling turned out to be.

28. "Have to read for English class" is the problem here. Being forced to read something and analyze it to death can just suck the joy out of reading. You might want to try rereading in ten years or so, they might surprise you.

Re: TCoMC: To be honest, it confuses me how people could prefer one or the other. The book is wonderful in one way, and Gankutsuou is wonderful in an entirely different way. I mean, I GUESS I prefer the anime, but I love the book to death, too. It's weird that someone would be all BOOK ARE BETTER or ANIME ARE BETTER, when they are very different and have different downfalls and upsides. But maybe it just seems weird to me because lately I've been trying to please everyone.

2) Poor Hud! He was totally the best character in the movie...I wish he'd lived. ;_; (Still loved the movie, tho.)

44) I used to think the same way you did. And then I started learning CG myself. And honestly? It's all the exact same thing...same principles, same techniques, same needs for both 2D and 3D art. The only thing different is the tools you use to animate. You can have crappy 2D and crappy 3D, the same way you can have amazing 2D and amazing 3D. If he can get good artists into improving all kinds of animation, I don't see why that's a bad thing.

That said, Glen is amazing. ♥ His 2D work has been one of my biggest inspirations.

If you're going to Tokyo, Akihabara is a great place to get older games. There's a store there called Super Potato that sells a TON of retro games. They've even got a stack of Super Famicons. When I went there I found just about every SNES game I could think of. All in Japanese :D The place is a bit hard to find, but if you keep looking you'll eventually find it.

Good luck. I disagree about Final Fantasy being overrated, though. At least, not on the SNES. FF4-6 were some of the best FFs around. And back then even FF was just a niche title (in the U.S. anyway). So it really wasn't THAT different from a lot of those other games you have in your secret.

D'oh, I've gotten so used to people saying 'Final Fantasy' and meaning FFVII or FFXII. I loved the SNES FF games.... except for Mystic Quest. gerk. Rather, if someone's played any SNES RPGs it's most likely to be those games, so they get more appreciation than other SNES games.

18. I hate people who claim to hate the dub just because some voice actor's in it. Vic Mignogna is a versatile actor. AND IT HASN'T EVEN COME OUT YET. Just shut up and watch the sub, then. If you can't separate actors from characters, then read a book and STFU.

19. I've always sort of liked Louise. I don't see her and Saji's point to the series, but now I'm assuming he's going to become a soldier or a pilot or something for vengeance. But I never hated Louise. I thought she and Saji brought some human, everyday-people elements to the show. After Episode 18, I've become heartbroken for her. No one deserves anything like that, and it hurt so much to see her cry over the ring.

21. Eh. It's not so bad. I mean, most of the boards are pretty 'meh' - what could be frightening about cooking, robots, trains, and photography?

56. Why couldn't you watch it all the way through? I think it's a marvelous adaptation. Adaptations will never been the same as the original. But they're still great. And that's about the best adaptation/retelling of anything I've ever seen.

54. The one that comes to mind first is Closer Enemies (http://games.adultfanfiction.net/story.php?no=544216609), which is... all right, I suppose, I just really hate the premise. I know there's others because my Stefan fan friends complain about them a lot, but that's the only one I've read.

As for Sanakific, I, sadly, don't know any that a) I didn't write and b) I didn't request. My apologies~
