I get what you're saying, OP, but what a lot of people don't know is that some fairly recent classics are finally getting into the public domain, like 1984 - and for people doing historical research, PG is a great place to start for literature and writings contemporary to the time period they're interested in.

Still, for university textbooks PG isn't that helpful, I grant.

I think you have to be in K-Pop fandom to feel this way, because as someone who has absolutely no ties to that fandom, I simply enjoyed the scene for being a fun battle sequence with a jokingly poppy song underneath. I guessed the song to be K-Pop and just thought it was appropriate. And I thought the whole sequence fit perfectly for the silly irreverence this show specializes in.
