116. Or most fangirls in their 30s are just in fandom as a hobby, like most younger fangirls. And aside from fic writing, I find the behavior you describe pathetic in fangirls of all ages. 116 - Dude, settle down. If you look at it on the other hand, why is it "normal" and "okay" for a teenager to spend all of their time writing fandom? They "should be" out exploring the world and experimenting, you know? I think it's a little agist to say that a hobby should only be suitable for people of a certain generation. It's probably safe to say that letting fandom control your life at any age COULD be considered unhealthy. But if you have a job and a family and what not, there is absolutely nothing wrong with having a fandom hobby. STFU
